This was my first time owning a laptop since I prefer to use a desktop PC. It is great for what I use it for, which would be to read my emails, pay bills, use iTunes, social media and just browsing the web. I don't really download much or use any of the Microsoft office apps. Therefore I have nothing to say on that. It's a nice laptop to have and a love the screen size. Runs pretty smoothly.

I am very pleased with the resolution on the 17 inch screen. It is lots faster than my old HP and it does not get as hot. It is truly a lap top!. I am not real wild about windows 10, but can't blame HP for that. I am very happy with this computer.

For what I was looking for this laptop does just that. I wanted something with alot of memory, that was pretty easy to set up operate.

This computer has a great 17 in screen and nice graphics. Only issue is battery life. Maybe 3 hours which is what you used to get in 2000. Other than that you get what you pay for.

Got the laptop to pay bills online. We have smartphones we use to do most of the stuff we do online and since buying this we've used it more than we thought we would. Really like the large screen and full keyboard.

I mostly do MS Office stuff and search the web for articles and news so it meets my needs. It's got a nice large screen and with good feeling keyboard. Battery gets 5 hrs.

I have NEVER been an HP fan. Actually, I have always avoided HP products due to various reasons and issues. When I found this machine, I was in a major bind and needed something very quickly. CONGRATULATIONS HP! You have certainly changed my perceptions of your company and products, and this is no easy feat. I LOVE THIS MACHINE! The performance has certainly EXCEEDED my expectations of what I look for and demand in a computer. Would I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY! Will I consider another HP in the future? ABSOLUTELY! Thank you HP!

No touch screen , i3 processor as opposed to i5 or i7 , no keylights . But large 17" screen , cd/dvd (some dont have this anymore , including the HP Envy models) , and solid construction (some others are cheaply built , including HP's) . I'm happy with the speed of the i3 , but I dont "game" or do anything complicated (but still fast with many windows open and great to watch movies on) . If you game , or want a touchscreen , more expensive versions of this same model have that , this one is fine for me , and if you read reviews complaining about quality , slowness , or problems with this model , I assure you that's not the general case , often it is due to problems not related to the computer itself , or may be defective (which can happen with any product) , not my first HP Pavillion , this is a good product . PS - Didn't used to like Best Buy , but they now have great prices and customer service , including "Pricematching" , which I took advantage of when I later found the computer cheaper - at Best Buy where I'd bought it in the first place!

Keyboard is roomy and easy to use. Like the large screen. Like the cd drive, multiple usb slots. Great

Love the features, touch screen, Geek Squad protection and warranty. It's lightning fast and the keyboard isn't weird to the touch.

Fast enough for viewing large picture files and movies. Screen large enough for elderly people to be able to use it.

Summary pretty much sums it up, I needed a something to pay bills check email's and this does what I needed.

Great aesthetics--efficient, effective, easy to use. Has everything I need and a ton of memory. Very happy.

Bought this laptop for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves the size and is glad it is not touchscreen. Great for homework and watching youtube and netflix. I'm sure it's great for other things, but this is what she uses it for. No complaints from her yet :)

This hp laptop has a clear screen and enough memory to function smoothly. It is a comfortable weight.

The computer is great however this will be my last Best Buy purchase after several problems with Best Buy. I was told I would receive 15 dollars off which I never received. Called the company and was hung up on. Then I was told I would be credited $30 which was later denied. Will no longer support Best Buy but now for the computer. I have had it for almost a month. Great computer, works fast with no problems! Uses low cpu disk and memory. Will buy directly from the HP website in the future.

Big screen and easy to use........................

Nice 17" laptop but it had an issue which made me return it. The wireless internet card did not work so I used an adapter which helped me connect to the internet. The speed of the processor is good but because of the internet connection problem, I returned it. Best Buy did not give me any hassle concerning the return. I appreciated this so my shopping for a replacement was at Best Buy. (So far the replacement is functioning very well and will review this new product at a later date.) Because of the internet issue, I could only give the HP 3 stars but it has quite a bit of bang for the buck. Without the noted issue, the laptop would have easily been rated 5 star.
