Windows 10 corrupted files before 30 days with minimal use

Not a fancy or particularly fast computer, but great for my purposes and the price is right.

I was surprised that the computer was not loaded up with so much junk that I have experienced with other new computers in the past. One small thing is that the security system that was preloaded is Mcafee and good for 30 days not the one advertised in the description. The processor is fairly fast, the built -in wireless connection is fantastic, and Windows 10 is a joy. This is a no frills desktop tower. For most who want a plug in and go system this is really all you need. For someone wanting to expand keep in mind there are no empty card slots to expand with. The only empty slot on motherboard is one for memory addition. So expanding would be using USB ports only which in that case there are 4 empty USB ports after the mouse and keyboard are attached.The optical drive has 7200 RPM speed which is great. There is no outside case hard-drive light at all. As a matter of fact the only outside case light is the power button and the optical disk light while operating. I do miss having a drive light to see the drive working. I am happy with the computer overall for a fast-enough basic system at a good price.

I USE IT FOR E-MAILS, FACEBOOK, LOOKING UP INFORMATION NOT FOR BILLS ETC. SO IT'S OK!!

It works fine. A little bit hard to set up. I wish I knew how to get off the password.

In lieu of lower prices offered by Walmart, I decided instead of relying on someone whos not a product specialist and save a few bucks, to go with Best Buy. Not willing to buy online either from someone who wont support my PC purchase

windows 10 is hard to get use to. don't realy like.

My HP desktop computer has met all of my needs and then some. Windows 10 was easier to figure out than I thought it would be. There are still a few things I' m not sure how to find, coming from XP, but I'm sure i'll figure it out.

This is not the computer for you, so keep on looking. It is slow, lumbering and quite annoying. Windows 10 will try to take over and ruin your whole life from this computer through to your cell phone, I pad and whatever else it can reach its tentacles into.

I like the computer.. the only thing I would change is the location of the ports.

Way too slow, wont buy another HP again....big mistake. and too many problems..

Wasn't sure what what needed, just that office computer had outlived it functionality. Very helpful salesman explaining options, and Geek Squad has been excellent in assisting with start up issues. All good--at least so far.

This computer was the noisiest computer I have ever owned, the fan ran constantly and it made a very very loud humming noise. I returned it and bought a different brand. I will NEVER buy another HP.

No issue with the computer. Windows 10 is a bit challenging to get used to.
