I researched this computer for months before getting it and Im so happy with it. It has a super fast processor and it takes little to no time to set up.

As a university student who has to carry lots of book(big books) this laptop is perfect for my backpack, light weight.

great product for the price and the overall performance has been good for me so far.

I am searching for a new computer because every HP that I have won't connect to the internet.. the wireless card isn't recognized by the device manager - the computer won't recognize any wireless card. I could NOT believe this was at the list of top rated lap tops!@! Read any HP Message boards - and do a search on "wireless card disappears".. hundreds have this problem. Like I said, I have 3 HP's and every one has had this problem.. I have a Toshiba, and have NEVER had this problem.. HP won't even help - this problem comes and goes, intermittetly, so when you send it in, they wipe the hard drive, and send it back... it may work for a day, a week, or month, but it will go out again... and if it's not under warranty anymore, they won't even look at it unless you pay 350.00 WASTE OF MONEY - DONT BUY THIS OVERRATED COMPUTER

Hard drive started acting up immediately. I invested $200 to find out that the problem needed to be fixed by HP. HP standard policy is to have you PC for 5-7 business days. I have my own business and not one of my clients would accept an explanation that I was not able to do any work for 5-7 business days, but still wanted to be paid. The situation forced me to buy another brand's laptop and this one has not been used since it was returned. I wasted $1,300 between the PC, upgrades and software. Really, really frustrating and not a good way to spend your money in this economy.

I purchased this laptop in September 2009 and after less than 3 months of light/average use it has failed on me. If you make the mistake of purchasing this item either return it immediately for a refund or make sure that you purchase an external hard drive and back up all of your data on a daily basis. In addition to every start up becoming slower and slower, this laptop also comes with the added feature of being loaded down with unnecessary software that you will never ever use in a million years.

a year ago i bought this HP pavilion lap top which is the biggest mistake i ever made. i pay more than a thousand bucks and get some kind of garbage. it is like my money is flashed in ........ i paid so far $300 to get it fix and keep it run. so my advise is run.....pay some kind of brand but not hp.

Started having problems with product kept freezing and making a loud noise. Would turn off by itself for no reason heated up so fast. Had to return it right away. Performance was terrible I would not recommend anyone to purchase this laptop.
