    I've bought three of these units so far. First one came with Windows 7 Professional and had no issue. I was so impressed I bought another one. That one had Windows 7 Home but was cheaper. Unlike the 1st one, Microsoft said it could not validate the product (installed Windows). No problem, I do not use "Home" editions since you cannot join a domain with it. So I installed my Windows 7 Ultimate and all was ok. Again, I was pleased with the looks and performance. I bought a 3rd one which came with Windows 7 Professional. Microsoft would not validate that one either. I returned it since AST (the refurbishing company)'s technical support did not reply to my email. Except for the Validation issues, they are nice, beautiful, quiet, and fast. Windows rates it at 3.5 or 3.6. Maybe BB will help you validate it if you have this issue. I did not try that.

    Unpacked, plugged in, pressed power button and it did not come on. Very disappointed
