Very happy with my purchase. It is a very fast (I7 processor) and very capable of handling multiple applications at the same time. Incredible price for such a great product!

I bought this computer based on the high reviews given by other purchasers. I should have know better, cause it sounded too good to be true: A refurb computer with an Intel Core i7 for less than the price of the CPU itself. Sounded great.
1st problem after purchase: VGA connection not functioning. Why put in on if I can't use it. Luckily a quick run to the local Goodwill store helped me find the necessary cord for the DVI input.
2nd problem: Computer boots up, and it says there's a software problem, and it will be a few minutes to self-fix. 15 minutes later the login screen finally appears, ALONG WITH THE USER PASSWORD SCREEN. No additional paperwork in the box saying what's the password.
I called the number for Joy Systems, the refurbisher. Get put on hold for 10 minutes, then give up. At this point I packed up the computer and took it back to Best Buy. The guy at the Geek Desk plugs it in, and soon tells me that the thing has several system errors. I'm done at this point, and tell him to refund my money. Best Buy was quick to do the refund, so I am fine with them. No way I'm buying another refurbished computer.

I was a bit nervous to buy a refurbished computer, but for the price, it was a great deal and decided to go with it. (It did have a warranty, so other than some hassle, I had nothing to lose.)
Positive
I received the computer about a month ago and have been using it daily. It works great! Fast and mine actually had a 2TB hard drive (though most of my work is saved online anyhow at this point, so will never use that much :o).
All good!
Bad "ish"
Again, my bottom line is excellent and would purchase again. The "bad" is more of a delayed "excellent". (and the reason I waited to write this review)
The way the monitor hooks up is with a type of hookup I hadn't seen before. It had a hookup with rows of 9 pins with a small set of pins next to it. (Looking online, this is a normal plug, I just hadn't seen it before.) Anyhow, it came with a converter to the "normal" monitor plug. One of the pins was bent on the converter. I bent it back and it worked fine, but occasionally my monitor would have a deep yellow tint. I would just bump the computer and it would be fine for a while.
I wrote to JoySystems, who refurbished the computer. They were very helpful and sent me a new converter right away, no questions asked (other than questions to figure out what was wrong). It worked great and all is now set, with a great computer and a great customer service experience (giving more confidence).
Great computer! Great deal! I am very happy.
