It doesn’t respond quickly or not at all when you tell it to print. I’ve shut it off, reset it, bought a long printer cord to plug in directly. We get syntax errors. Taking it to the Geek Squad tomorrow.

HP is holding my printer hostage for toner ransom

This was a great printer until 10/2020. HP updated the firmware so that the printer will only work with overpriced HP toner. Now it sits unplugged and unused. Toner costs almost as much as a the printer.

I had a b/w LaserJet and really didn’t want to fork out 400 bucks for a color laser, but wanted one for the family. We don’t print color a lot so I am wary of inkjet cartridges drying out...hence the laser. Got the refurb on this model and it works great. Looks brand new, color is great. Drivers went in easy, can scan and print wirelessly. You sort of have to know what you’re doing to make this happen, but it’s NEVER easy with these wireless all in ones. Only issue I’m having is a delay between clicking print and it printing. Also eprinting now has a HUGE delay that I’m trying to sort out. USB is flawless. Really happy I took a risk and got refurbished.

DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, unless you have lots of time to spend trying to get the printer to either be online or installed. Having 4 HP printers here, only one was really great. A hp D110. Then I got a message from hp asking for permission to maintain access to our system in order to keep our printer software up dated. Unfortunately, I agreed. They immediately stated that they no longer supported that printer and erased the software from all 4 computers ??? ok you don't support it, leave it alone.. They simply could not stand the fact they we had a hp printer that always worked, always worked great and had fantastic software. Have already replaced on with a Dell,, the rest WILL go.

This printer is a complete piece of crap. We have had nothing but problems. The ONLY way it would print is if we deleted it from our computer and then reloaded the printer into the system every single time we wanted to print. Then it printed multiple copies of the document--the one we had tried to print in the first place and the job we ordered after reloading. Waste of both paper and ink. The ink is ridiculously expensive. I WILL go back to Canon, slower printing, but it does it once, the first time, EVERY TIME. I will use this lemon only as a copier, as it is faster in that function and does work every time.
