I recently purchased this laptop from bestbuy. I wanted something reliable that had a comfortable and pleasant typing experience, decent battery life, and could function as both a laptop and tablet. I read several reviews and narrowed down my choices to the spectre and the new Lenovo 2 in 1. The oled battery life wasn't a necessity but it didn't hurt that both laptops had a beautiful oled screen with minimal glare and a 120 hz touchscreen display. I didn't like the fact that bestbuy sold the version of the spectre that came without the pen. The Lenovo 9i came with both the pen and a sleeve. And pretty much had similar specs. I eventually purchased the spectre mainly because bestbuy had an awesome deal discounting the price for the 14 inch 16 gb version to $999. However, I returned it a week later. Why? Well here is the caveat with this laptop actually the same caveat could apply to any Intel based laptop right now. I found out that hp has ended the spectre line along with several other models and changed their naming conventions to elite books and omnibooks. This was probably done primarily to prepare for the release of the new snapdragon elite x cpu. And this is why I think it's a bad idea right now to purchase any Intel based laptop. Snapdragon elite laptops are about to be released in the next month or so and while there hasn't been any real world confirmation of their performance there are legitimate preliminary tests showing that these snapdragon laptops will have dramatic performance upgrades over their Intel counterparts in everyday usage, battery life, etc. An argument could legitimately be made that buying any intel based laptop right now is a very bad idea. I considered the real possibility that hp could release an omnibooks 2 in 1 by the end of the year with double or triple the performance and battery life of the Intel ultra spectre. Intel has also responded to the threat of the snapdragon cpu with the promise of a new cpu that will even outperform the snapdragon elite. So if that happens everyone who purchased an Intel ultra laptop will have a laptop that has become almost obsolete within less than a year. And for that reason I would tell anyone considering this laptop to wait before purchasing. If anything just wait a few months until the hype from the snapdragon chip blows over. If what Qualcomm is claiming turns out to be true every Intel ultra based laptop will go on sale with huge discounts later this year and you won't have wish you had waited a little longer to get the best laptop for your money.

The HP Spectre x360 14" is a luxurious 2-in-1 laptop that delivers both style and substance. Its stunning 2.8K OLED touchscreen, powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, and elegant nightfall black design make it a standout device. The performance is exceptional, handling demanding tasks with ease, and the battery life is impressive. While the port selection is limited and the price is high, the Spectre x360 is a worthwhile investment for those seeking a premium laptop that excels in every aspect.

This is an outstanding laptop overall. The screen is beautiful and crisp. The processor is fast, it comes with 16gp memory and a 1tb SSD. I like the feel of the keyboard and how it lights up when I touch it. I like the large letters on the keys. It only has two USB ports but I can get along with that. Really a superb laptop and I'm very pleased with it. It's much better than the MS Surface it replaced.

This is an amazing Windows 2-in-1 laptop. The display is bright and clear, touch works great, the new haptic trackpad is sweet, keys and their travel are great to type on. It is so solidly built, it feels a little bit heavy for its size... but that is because of the build. It's fast, compatible with everything. And the speakers are great too!

fantastic screen and way faster than my HP Envy Evo iCore 7 11th gen; the battery charges fast and lasts quite a while; it is chunkier than the Envy model and a similarly-powered Asus Zenbook, but that is not necessarily a bad thing, as it feels more robust / better built

This is a great laptop - very portable, and very high quality. The OLED screen is GORGEOUS, and looks really good watching 4K content. I especially love the features that HP provides as far as webcam shutter being built-in and electronic. The battery life easily exceeded 10hrs just browsing the web and doing general activities. The only issue I have, is that the integrated Intel Arc graphics are kind of meh. I tried it with Cities Skylines II, and I had to run everything on very low, and it was still struggling somewhat. I ended up exchanging this for a Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, which is a 14" laptop that includes Nvidia RTX 4050 discrete graphics, and was able to run Cities Skylines II on high settings.

So the pros of this laptop is the metal build quality, keyboard and screen. But ultimately my issue is the performance in windows 11 is still slow even with the core ultra 7. Also it's quite heavy to use in tablet mode. The haptic trackpad is good, and better than most laptops but I still feel it's not the same quality as MacBook. I could never get two finger click to work consistently with the trackpad. Also the fan is audible, make sure you don't put it on soft surfaces like your lap or bed. Otherwise it does overheat. MacBook Air doesn't have this since no fans. This is a good next try by HP , but still not where I want it to be.

I’ve been using the HP Spectre 2-in-1 and I love it. The OLED screen is super clear and bright, and the touch screen is really smooth. It’s fast, thanks to the Intel Ultra 7 and 16GB memory, and I have more than enough space with the 1TB SSD. It’s also lightweight, looks great in Nightfall Black, and I like that I can use it as a tablet too. Perfect for work, streaming, or just browsing. Totally worth it.

What a wonderful machine. I bought this for my wife, I personally use a MacBook Pro M1, however I will most likely switch over to this machine as well. The keyboard is one of my favorites that I’ve ever used on a laptop, I love the trackpad - it compares to apple’s, and the OLED screen is gorgeous. I also love the build quality. You can tell that this machine is very well built and will hold up to every day travel and use.

In the 10 years of buying 2-1 laptops, which included 2 generations of Lenovo Yoga, previous generation of Spectre, and the Asus ROG Flow X13, hands-down the Spectre wins, The Lenovos, although elegant, barely lasted a year without some type of failure, screen or swivel (1st gen). Power ok, battery ok, quality mediocre. Verdict: Beautiful but low quality. The prior generation Spectre x360 (13-ap0041nr), although 13", is basically same form factor (dimensions) as this model, but had smaller screen, was reliable, elegant, powerful, and spectacular battery (10-16 hours). Lasted 3 years, subtle failure was a weird reduction in brightness, as if in Night mode. First laptop where I didn't have to buy a second "remote" charger. Verdict: Perfect. The X13 is powerful, crashes more than the others, always too hot, horrible battery and ugly, but, well built (lasted 4 years with no issue or failure, and resold for good price). I always had to carry charger -very annoying and extra weight. Verdict: Powerful, requires charger. This model is elegant, powerful, cool (while on battery or plugged!), shiny screen, good ergonomics, although not too crazy about oversized mousepad, a lil heavier. My grievance is the battery, about 6 hours, can be pushed to 8, but I would be reducing load and going into reserve (under 20%). Verdict: Great, if only battery could last 10+ hours. Conclusion: She's beautiful, strong and cool. Recommended.

First, this laptop has a bright, colorful and very detailed display. Sound output is exceptional, with the Ultra 7 processor 16 gigs of memory and a 1 TB solid state drive, this laptop is very fast. The backlit keyboard is very easy to see under limited light. I own many laptops and this one is one of the best.

Overall good computer. It really light compared to other window computers which is a plus as a college student show is constantly walking from building to building. The touch screen is really nice as well. The thing I will complain about though is that the privacy shutter became stuck so now I can’t use the camera which becomes bothersome when I have to do online classes. I will attempt to take it to get looked at. It’s a hardware problem so I would recommend not using the privacy shutter at all and buying one from Amazon that’s not built into the computer.

The build quality of this laptop is among the best I've experienced among Windows laptops, with a touchpad that can even rival a MacBook. However, the screen has a grid pattern due to the touch layer, which affects the viewing experience, especially on light backgrounds. The performance is decent, though the fan can get noisy occasionally. It's suitable for light use.

This is my favorite laptop available right now. In 2nd place is the Microsoft Surface laptop, but this beats it becuase of the OLED screen (a joy to read on) and the keyboard and touchpad, which are phenomenal. I do most of my work on this laptop

Very solid laptop fors daily use and school. Screen: The OLED screen is vibrant and the high refresh rate makes daily tasks smooth. Keyboard & Touchpad: Keyboard is the best I've used on a laptop. The haptic touchpad is huge and feels premium. Overall amazing laptop especially if you can find it on sale.

I absolutely love this laptop! The size is perfect—very portable and easy to carry around. It’s fast, light, and the fact that you can use it as a tablet is a game-changer. Whether I’m working on the go or relaxing at home, it’s incredibly versatile. Highly recommend!

Loved the PC. Fast, great keyboard layout and the track pad is spectacular. Ports are minimal, however, you have what you need to function. Portability is great and battery life is better than expected.

I received my package now, and when I opened it I surprised that the pen not available!! When I checked some others reviews I found the same issue!
