This mouse is the perfect addition to go along with the HP Spectre. A little pricier than most, but works awesome with the Bluetooth function. Highly recommended!

When I bought my new Spectre laptop I was in the market for a new mouse as well. This mouse got good reviews, and matches my laptop, so I bought it. For the most part, it works well. There are three issues with it, though. None of these make it unusable, but they all make the mouse a bit irritating. First, the mouse is designed to go with the Spectre line of laptops, and match the sleek look, even as far as matching colors. So far, so good. However, who designs a matching accessory that charges differently? The laptop uses a USB-C plug to charge, and the mouse uses a Micro USB plug. My laptop charger is always at hand, so when the battery alert pops up on my laptop, I just grab the USB-C plug and insert it in the charging port. Easy-peasey, as the USB-C can be inserted in either orientation. When the battery alert on the mouse pops up, oh wait, there is no battery alert, more on that later. So, when the mouse stops working, because the battery is dead, I have to fumble around for the Micro USB cord, and plug it into the mouse and the laptop. The USB port that this cord plugs into is on the left side of the laptop. I am right handed, as are 85% of human beings in the US (at least that's what the statistics show), so I now have a cord snaking around the back of my laptop and connected to my mouse. This needs to be plugged in for quite some time to charge the battery, and is quite irritating as I use the mouse. If the mouse charged using a USB-C plug, I could plug it into the always available USB-C laptop charger that came with the laptop this mouse is designed to work with! My work around is to have a USB-C to Micros USB adapter plugged into the mouse at all times, not a huge inconvenience, but irritating. And, it needs to be attached at all times because this mouse's battery does not last very long at all. I used to swap the rechargeablle AAA batteries in my previous bluetooth mouse every couple of months or so. I need to plug this mouse in to charge about every week and a half, which is ridiculous. The second issue is that this mouse does not communicate with my laptop well when the laptop is on standby or sleeping. My old mouse would wake up the laptop almost immediately. This mouse requires a LOT of movement, and most times even a button click to wake up the laptop. My third issue with the mouse is that there is no battery level indicator, at least not one that is visible. I think the light on the bottom of the mouse changes color when the battery gets low, but I can't verify this, because IT'S ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUSE AND NOT VISIBLE WHEN THE MOUSE IS BEING USED. There is a feature in Windows 10 that shows the battery level of attached bluetooth devices, but you have to make several clicks to get to it, and it does not update. It shows the level when you first click it, but if you look again several days later, the level is indicated to be the same. I love the features of this mouse, and how small it is while still being comfortable to use, but these design flaws are very irritating. I don't think I will be buying another one.

A sleek looking mouse with rechargeable power and a battery that lasts up to 11 weeks on a single charge. It lets you scroll not just up and down, but from side to siide. Excellent finish.

Nice accessory to go with my computer. A little expensive for a basic mouse with a few bells and whistles, so I guess I am paying for the color and trim but still happy with the purchase.

I purchased this mouse to match my 13" HP Spectra 300 laptop. It matches perfectly. What I like most is that it is blue tooth compatible. That is important being that the 13" Spectra only has one USB Port. This mouse comes with a USB cord and a USB dongle that is needed for most wireless mice. The mouse can be used with the USB cable while charging. This mouse is a little pricey at $65.00, although I got it at a discount for $51.00 which is still pricey for a mouse. Anyway, I am happy with the performance and that it is a perfect match for my Spectra Laptop.

I really like this Bluetooth mouse. It's smooth and all the buttons are not too spread out. It's very functional, as the backward and forward buttons are located on the left side, the page scroll button is in the middle of the device and the scroll speed on the wheel. All these are great because you really don't have to take your hands off the mouse. Very happy with this purchase. I've always been an HP Girl and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Thanks, HP!

Overall, this is agood, solid mouse that functions flawlessly. But I returned mine. Why? Because I felt that I was paying for the "premium" Spectre name, just because it matched my computer's color scheme. Not worth it for a good, but rather average mouse. I returned mine for a high-end Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and am now much more satisfied, knowing that I paid for features, not styling or a name.
