Year and a half of use, still working like new
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is truly exceptional. I bought it right before entering college as a freshman and as a senior graduating present. I carry it around every day and it has never not worked perfectly. I am not gentle on it and I slide in in and out of my backpack daily and it has held up perfectly. The computer is still just as fast as the day I got it. Surely, with good care, this computer will still be modern and working great for many more years. Truly better quality than my old mac book.

Great 2 in 1 but pen needs some work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally got this to use the pen with it so I could draw in Adobe, but it wasn't meant to be. No precision, sensitivity is off and skips like crazy. The laptop itself is great except for the trackpad which I found glitchy at times. In the end, if you need a 2 in 1 this is a great buy but overpriced due to its build quality. You can buy a more powerful laptop for less money that's not aluminum.

Superior convertible laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this computer for several months and am very pleased with its performance. It is larger and weighs more than the MacBook Air but is still a compact and full featured Windows based model. The aluminum case is durable and give a feel of quality. Battery life is good, lasting several hours. I am still getting use to Windows 10, but otherwise this computer does everything well and without any glitches.

Still too soon to tell
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been working with the new HP Spectre and while I love its speed, light weight and responsive keyboard, it has been freezing up once in a while. So its only been three weeks - I will make a final review when I have worked with it a few more weeks.

Excellent lightweight laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a lightweight windows 10 based laptop for business travel that performed well with the MS Office suite of products. This laptop is quick, quiet and light. There is little or no bloatware on the initial load and the new Windows 10 platform really works well. I do not use the tablet mode that often, but limited use seems to work well.

I love this computer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When my last laptop computer died, I wanted a smaller, lighter weight computer. I am loving this spectre! It is very lightweight, fast and easy to use. I haven't used it in tablet mode much, but love the way it switches easily without any problems. The HD screen is so much better than I have ever had. I love that I can lay it flat or adjust it anyway I want. It is so easy to use and works great. The processor is so much faster than my last computer and I have lots of storage space. I tried the Dell 2-in-1 first, but it just wasn't as good as this one.

Nice computer with great battery life.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how the laptop is light weight yet still powerful. A great benefit of having the keyboard keys silver in color is in a dark environment I don't have to turn on the back-light function. I like the feel of the keys. the touch screen works very well. I think the touch pad is unnecessarily large. There is no reason for it to be that big. I think a big down side of the large track pad is the right click button is not in the bottom center like every other windows computer on the planet, but instead in the far right bottom corner. That is a huge inconvenience for trying to right click on highlighted items and a real pain when trying to right click drag for moving files from one hard drive to another. I will also mention that the front edge of the laptop has a very sharp corner that digs into my wrists and palms causing discomfort while using the laptop on my lap. Even with those annoyances I won't take off any stars because it really is a great computer and I has great battery life.

So far a few frustrations but a good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the overall feel of this laptop and the large SSD hard drive. I had some issues at the beginning with Windows 10 updates knocking out this laptop's network adapter, but after reverting to factory settings and installing new drivers and Windows updates, it seems to be working fine. I'm looking forward to using it more.

Looks great but poor design choices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally, I purchased the 1080p Spectre but returned it because it was defective out of box. The right side of the palm rest would rock back and forth whenever typing. I decided that I wanted a 512GB SSD so I chose the QHD model when I returned the original defective. I LOVE the huge trackpad. The silver looks sleek and almost looks like a MacBook. The part where HP failed is the screen. The screens on any Spectre x360 is SOOOO shiny and reflective that it's like I am looking in a mirror. Sitting in my office where they have natural daylight lights (emulates being next to window), I cannot see anything on the Spectre screen except a reflection of my face. So I have to turn the brightness to 50% just to see ANYTHING. The problem with that is that QHD and 1080p Spectre are supposed to get 8+ hours battery life in average use scenarios (1080p obviously longer like 10 hrs) So because I have to run it at 50% brightness, then the battery will only last 3-4 hours. They do sell anti-glare screen protectors on Amazon but I can't speak for how well those work. So, in conclusion if you plan to use this laptop anywhere near windows, outside, coffee shops, or just have natural daylight light bulbs then think about the Yoga 900 or Samsung ATIV Book 9 Spin.

Compact and Quick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really nice little laptop. Pros for me are how lightweight it is, how lightning fast it is - especially restarting or powering up, and the 15 inch size makes it so portable - it easily fits in my backpack and even my purse! The battery life is really nice, too. I never have to worry about bringing my charger cord with me for a full day of school use - it always lasts the whole day (I am not usually streaming or watching any videos, though). Cons - I have only discovered a couple so far - there have been a few instances of the video driver getting "stuck" when browsing on websites. It will stop working but then quickly recovers. Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance of this computer.

Stunning Powerhouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After much research I decided on the HP-Spectrex360 2-in-1. After using a 15-inch 10 pound laptop, the Spectre 2-in-1 is truly a dream. My co-workers called it "stunning" when I opened the box and I agree. It's a beauty, but more than that, it's everything I was looking for--solid state, functions as a laptop for work and a tablet for fun, has a nice size screen (11" is too small for work), is very light, and quite the little powerhouse. I love it! For the icing on the cake, I purchased Geek Squad support so no worries for me for years to come. :D

Great Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having both a powerful computer and a sophisticated tablet in one machine is awesome. Combine that with a flash memory hard drive and you have a light, cool running experience. The only negative I have is that Windows 10, while much improved, still has not caught up with the competition. Hardware wise, you would be hard pressed to beat this computer even at a higher price range.

So far so Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The build is exquisite. I love the screen also, as well as the full size HDMI port that really makes a difference over the Yoga devices. It's also a very fast machine. Not crazy about the power button on the side but I think I'll get used to it. No harm, no foul at this point.

Amazing & Powerful Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The power, versatility and price makes this laptop an outstanding value. Windows 10, touch screen, and tablet style are the reasons I purchased this laptop and HP's reputation for quality can't be beat. You won't regret buying this I promise.

Great Premium Convertable Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I was quite impressed with the build quality for the HP Spectre X360. Definitely a strong contender vs the Apple MacAir. This is a great laptop for someone who is looking for a highly portable laptop with powerful specs. Pros: Very Fast Boot (< 8 Seconds from power button to windows logon) Solid feel and construction Excellent keyboard feel (feels better than my Dell XPS15 9550 keyboard) Beautiful IPS Display Very thin and light Cons: The location of the power button is not ideal. Windows 10 only reports the percentage of battery remaining, but does not give you a time estimate. Apparently, HP disabled this in the bios.

Awesome.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only disappointment is, HP released the 4k 15" five weeks after I purchased my 360. Overall quality is fantastic. Screen is beautiful, keyboard is responsive and has good feel. Startup in about 10 seconds. Windows 10 is getting better all the time. I am happy with my purchase.

Great Ultra Portable Computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Spectre x360 is such a beautiful, powerful machine. I love the unmatched sleek, class design. I was almost persuaded not to buy this computer due to some of the user reviews found online however I am glad that I went with my choice. I wouldn't have any other -even for less money. I haven't had any issues; I'm quite happy with this product. One last note if you plan on using a stylus. I first purchased HP Active Pen T5E12AA#ABL however it was not compatible; I returned it right away. I am currently using Dell's Active Stylus for Dell Tablet (750-AAGN).

Great Computer for a Student
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this computer. It is light and portable and very fast. As a student, I need a computer that can hold up and this computer has a decent battery life. The look of the computer is beautiful and the keyboard is made so that it is difficult for dust and dirt to get under the keys. I am glad that I decided to purchase this computer and would recommend it.
