The laptop is pretty good, just the windows 10 sucks with me work software.

I have had the HP Spectre for about a month now and have been loving it so far. The design is sleek. The effect of the SSD on speed is very discernible. I'd recommend a 16 GB RAM to leverage the maximum capabilities of the Spectre. Cons: The mouse pad is not great. The power button is kind of hard to press as it is located on the side. The laptop has frozen mid-activity a few times, though I am not sure if this is a Windows 10 bug or has to do with the laptop itself.

Works well for my real flight simulator MODEL AIRPLANE SIMULATOR and online work, very quick start up and shutdown, love the Tutch screen for solitaire and FreeCell.

Replaced a very old laptop with this. We've been very happy so far. We love being able to use it as a laptop or tablet.

The device is perfect, my issue is with Windows 10, when in tablet mode.. the news feed

The laptop is easy to use and is really portable. We can use it as a stationary laptop or carry it into the living room and use it.

This computer has everything and does everything. The build is second to none. The only negative is that the machine gets pretty hot due to the metal chassis. Other than that, well with the price compared to the competitors (XPS, Zenbook, etc).

Was hesitant to purchase this laptop at first because of the smaller screen size, but for what it is intended for (mobility) , any larger and it would be cumbersome. Very lightweight and convenient, still fast. Glad I chose this model.

I've been looking for a laptop replacement for a while. I wanted something light without sacrificing quality and a great price. I travel a lot and do presentations worldwide. I chose this laptop and it did not disappoint! Impressive and beautiful! And light!

This is a speedy 2in1 and is a highly responsive piece of machinery, it performs its functions and reboots very fast and touch screen works very well. The shift and alt keys for pgup pgdwn, end and home keys need a little getting used to but along with its lit keyboard it runs Windows 10 and apps very fast. The sound had got a little messed up but some update fixed the screechy sound. I also got used to using the HP pen on it on One Note and that is really powerful because as you write, it automatically OCR's the handwriting into a computer recognizable list. I have had this machine only for about 3 weeks but it is the most satisfied I have been with a laptop in the past 20 or so years.

This is a really great laptop - fast processing speeds and the ability to convert to a tablet offers flexibility when working on projects or just surfing the web. The battery life is OK and it It's gotten hot to the touch on the bottom a few times. Be sure to run install HP updates and drivers out of the box - I ran into some volume and buffering issues with video playback in Google Chrome. Go with the 15-inch version if you plan to have multiple screens open at once for projects/school. I am having buyer's remorse because I should have purchased the 15-inch screen version. Overall - great laptop!

I purchased this HP Spectre more for the size than its ability to transform into a tablet computer. Size and power were important to me, and this baby delivers. About a month into my purchase, I'm just about finished transferring older files. For whatever reason, I couldn't get my Western Digital hard drive to connect with Windows 10... won't be buying a WD again! So, it was a long and painful process to transfer files via flash drives. I'm just starting to use the laptop as I normally would and it has been smooth sailing. The display is just amazing... so clear and beyond what I really was expecting. I'm just bummed that merely weeks after I purchased this product, HP unleashed its latest version. Oh well... Maybe now this model will be on clearance and a great bargain.

This laptop/tablet combination is amazing. Lots of memory - great speed - good graphics. Purchased it over other similar models because it also had the HDMI capability. Lightweight; lit keyboard. What more can I say.
