Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the responsive touch screen, strong performance, and lightweight design of the Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop. Positive feedback also frequently mentions the long battery life and fast SSD. However, some users note that the laptop can get warm during use and that the fan can be noisy at times. The relatively high price point is also a recurring concern for some customers.

Super happy with it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs lightning fast, awesome screen quality, SO LIGHT and ideal for travel (for those that still need a 15" screen). Using in tablet mode with pen is also really great - especially for Photoshop masking - effortless! Oh, and it's real purty!

Excellent Computer/Large tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very happy with my purchase. I was trying to decide between a tablet and a laptop. I finally decided on the this item, and it has not disappointed me. It's sturdy, which is helpful around 4 hyper small dogs. The keys light up for easy dark time typing. You can easily switch between laptop and tablet mode. Graphics are incredible, and it's quick and responsive.

So far, loving it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this from best buy last week and so far it's been a great laptop! It's very sleek and attractive. The pen is very useful and very precise. I've never thought I would like the solid state as much as I do, but the fast loading speeds and the fast boot up is definitely worth geeking out over! The facial recognition is amazing and very quick. We have tried to unlock it using a photo, but it did not work, which means that it is very secure. The laptop does tend to run hot when the graphics card is being used, but that's to be expected. I get plenty of battery life and it runs everything quickly. I plan on getting my wife the 13 inch model.

A fantastic ultrabook!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before deciding to get this ultrabook, and it has been the best laptop I have ever purchased. I have used it for a month now, and it continues to impress me. The screen is spectacular, and the keyboard is the best I have ever used. The sound quality is excellent, and it is whisper quiet when the speakers are not in use. It charges up incredibly fast. I can surf the web for over 8 hours on a single charge. I am very happy with this purchase,

Wow what a few years does to technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Toshiba home laptop that finally fell apart. I thought it was great at the time but didn't have things like WIFI A/C and frankly the screen fell apart. I just got this HP and it is sleek, solid build and study feeling. Now, it has a solid stat drive and more RAM than my old one and onboard dedicated RAM (2g) for the graphics card is outstanding. Backlit screen is great but could use a sensor that backlit turns on when the keyboard is touched versus a simple on and off setting. With all the features I can look over that one. Nice keyboard and adjustable setting are great. Oh yea, a true 4k video display i think is super dooper. But not much on the audio side but I use earphones etc so I don't really care. All in all this is a 2k laptop for 1399. A deal to me. I'm happy.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP laptop is great but if I have to complain about one thing it is that is a little hot when used (not heavy use). It works perfectly fine, great screen, battery lasts from 8 to 10 hours in battery saver mode.

Battery life wins over processing power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When compared to the lenovo 720, I found that this computer had about a 25% longer battery life. The processor in the computer and in the graphics chip were both very fast compared to other computers in the price range, but the Lenovo was faster. The speakers on the Spectre face the user as opposed to reflecting off the desk in the case of the lenovo. This means that the Spectre has more predictable audio results which are decent but not as good as the Lenovo on a desk, but the Spectre has better audio when compared to the Lenovo on bed or something else that might muffle the sound. For my purposes, I prefer the Lenovo 720, but it was a tough decision and I found that I being influenced bythe Spectre's more attractive case. Both computers would make most people very happy.

Great compact power
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was tempted to buy a Mac this time around but when I realized I had to drop almost 3k on a Mac to get the same performance, I nearly fell off my seat. This machine has a touch screen and comes with a pen for editing docs as well as art and design. You can flip it and use the touch screen as a tablet or just flip it back and use it like a standard laptop. Jumping from a 4 year old laptop, the first thing I noticed was the resolution of the 4k screen. It's like getting a new pair of glasses after a 10 year hiatus from the eye Dr.. The SSD and 16 gig of Ram do a good job of starting up this machine in seconds and keeping it running at peak performance. If your in the market for a laptop under 2k, its going to be hard to find anything that looks and runs better than this.

Beautiful Design; Great performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've truly love this purchase. The computer is extremely fast with a very responsive and beautiful 4K touchscreen. I find myself using the computer in tablet mode more than my actual tablet. The metal housing is sleek and durable. It is slightly heavier than a similar sized budget laptop but that was expected based on materials used.

Absolutely Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always had to be mindful of price when it came to my previous laptops but with this one I was allowed to splurge to make sure I was getting one I knew would last and that I loved. I can honestly say I’m not disappointed it’s just perfect. Amazing graphics, nice touchpad, the speed is ridiculous, it’s just all around amazing.

Looks really good and happy so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read a lot of reviews before buying this laptop. There were some really negative reviews about the first generation of this laptop online with many people still having problems even after getting theirs replaced. Since more recent reviews seemed more positive I decided to take a chance as it is just so beautifully designed and well finished. After a couple of weeks I must say I really do love it. Pros: - looks and finishes - beautiful leather pouch included - active screen pen included and works well - good balance of performance and battery life - face recognition works ok - easy switchover to tablet mode and you can fold the screen back to any angle Cons: - I'm an IT professional but needed help setting it up as it just boots with a black screen and white mouse curser (still a problem but workaround is to turn off AppReadiness Windows 10 service) - The Bang & Olufsen speakers are disappointing - not sure why they put their name to it - hard to open the lid - ladies might break a nail... - power button is in an odd position - when you pick up the laptop it turns off. Volume buttons, similar issue - the buttons on the pen are flush with the body of the pen so hard to locate without looking at them - it's a bit heavy but worth it for the big screen Still - I love it and hope HP will sort out the small issues in future models

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Such a improvement over my last laptop ( HP Pavilion DV 9620us) its like night and day. Just checked my Wi-fi and its shows 886 Mbps! I used to manage with 50 something. Its also a dream to type on. When I tried some photo editing, the rendering was present time as opposed to going for some coffee while the picture showed up.

Best laptop or computer I've had
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, so my first computer was an Apple IIc back in the 80's, and every 5 years or so I would get another. That is a lot of Apples and PCs over the years. I bought this for the light weight, features and general integration. It is a beautiful device to look at, which I think is an often undervalued aspect of computers. It also performs flawlessly. Love the touchscreen, facial recognition, slots for memory cards (I take a lot of photos) and overall speed. I wish I had gotten a larger hard drive, but an external one works fine. Two years and no problems. If they still make these when mine reaches the end of its cycle, I might get another.
