I brought this as a gift for my little brother who loves to take pictures. I thought it'd be cool to be able to print out pictures whenever you wanted but the quality of the photos is terrible. We noticed the light colors in the first few photos, but the more we printed the worse the quality is. I have a Samsung S8 and my camera quality is great so there's no reason for the pics to be coming out pixely and not focused. We hate this printer definitely not worth $100.

I was looking forward to this mini photo printer since the concept is cool, but the execution, not so much... For a printer that ONLY prints pictures, the quality of the prints is extremely low. I have tried low light pics, bright pictures, indoor and outdoor and none turn out great. For $130, it should be better. I have had office printers that were cheaper than this and they could print better pictures.

    Disappointed

I purchased this printer with the intention of printing off quick photos to attach to forms for a camp program I facilitate. In testing two weeks before our session I ran into the following problems: 1. Difficultly connecting to printer 2. Queuing images to print 3. Printing images and time it took to print the image 4. The color on the finished print I was expecting something similar to a Polaroid photo, quick, easy sticker photo, but instead got a 5-10 minute process of disappointment. I probably shouldn’t compare the Sprocket to a Polaroid, so that’s on me, but I wasn’t expecting the process and results to be this poor. Please do research, more so, watch video reviews online before purchase just to be sure this is actually what you’re expecting.

I have been on the fence with this thing for a month. I really wanted to return it, but this portable printer had the best reviews. I didn't want to take the chance on an even worse portable printer and I really wanted to give it a chance. Its so convenient and pretty fast. BUT. the quality is GARBAGE. Printing a picture that I took on snapchat or my iPhone XS Max camera comes out extremely fuzzy and almost pixelated. Even if I used the portrait camera. Did I just have too high of expectations? Ordering free prints from websites like Shutterfly have way better quality than this thing. Bottom line, it sucks but its super convenient.

    Pictures were too small

I bought this printer for my 9 year-old granddaughter as a Christmas present. She was excited about printing her pictures, but she/we had difficulty figuring out how to get it to work. It is fun to see printed pictures, but the pictures are very small. Being able to print instant photos is appealing, but the appeal quickly wears off. You will probably use the picture blanks quickly and getting a new supply of them gets expensive. I think this is just a novelty. For the cost of this device, your money would be better spent on a standard printer. That way you could print different sizes of pictures and use different paper.

I purchased this to inventory my boxes with sticky printed pictures of the contents. The printer comes with 10 sheets and I purchased an additional 100 sheets, After 20 sheets, it started to get blue instead of white. At 40 sheets the prints were even darker. After 50 prints I returned the printer where the sales person told me how many people had returned the printer. Also the printer gets so hot htat I could barely hold it. ALso you have to print one sheet at a time and each print takes fomr 4 - 6 minutes.

I bought this product and could not stand the quality of the photos that came out of it. Pictures are small, which is expected, but the quality is poor. Photos were discolored and grainy. Upgraded to the Canon Selphy. That printer is a little larger and more expensive but it is definitely worth it. I did not like this product at all.

The pictures are really grainy! I purchased the instax 9 mini camera and much better quality. I give it a 2 star rating because picture is ready after printing, no need to shake picture and wait for it to slowly develop like the instax 9 film and it’s convenient having adhesive on the back of the film ready to stick anywhere.

I really like the idea of being able to print instant pictures. The one thing I don't like is that if you use 4 or 5 pictures and then don't have a reason to print any more for a week or two, I found the the paper you print on doesn't print out too good. I have had to use another new box to get printing.
