I have been spoiled with an SSD since I was using Mac before so of course I had to throw one in. I also decided to throw in 16gb of ram just to max it out and this thing now FLIES! I have yet to notice any slow down in this machine and the Star Wars theme/exclusives are incredible. Definitely a one in a million computer that not only Star Wars fans should love. This is my first HP and I have no regrets. The only thing I think worth mentioning is that the second night I got it there was an HP update I had to do for the display driver. I kept getting a message saying that my display driver had failed and that's how I found the update. So if you get this message don't freak out, it is a simple fix that takes MAYBE 5 minutes. Overall, great computer. This is my first windows machine in 8 years and I'm not really looking to go back to a MacBook anytime soon.

love the star wars stuff but nothing else really..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.computer is cool looking but mine works terrible especially the Microsoft edge... battery sucks since I got it as well and I have my screen brightness on the lowest and on power saver:\ I wanted to love this computer but I can't the way it works. I gave it two cause I do like the design and the star wars extras on it. not sure if I got a bad one cause of the rest of the reviews are great.. and yes I did do all the updates and it is still doing this..

Awesome for Star Wars fans!

It really is amazing with the amount of detail that they put into this thing. You can tell that the designers of it are big Star Wars fans themselves. As for the internals, the i5 processor is quite good. It's enough for me as a college student. I use it for my everyday computer needs. Writing papers, emailing, browsing the web, you name it. It has performed excellently. It's not a gaming laptop as it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. If you're looking for a gaming laptop this isn't for you (maybe look into the i7 version, but even that one doesn't have a great graphics card). Overall this is an excellent computer and I'm very satisfied with my purchase!
