I bought this for my Spectre x360 and it doesn't recognize the pen at all which is a big disappointment. I downloaded the driver for my laptop and it's not functional. Maybe this is made for the newer models.

Ordered this product online for my hp chromebook and despite it being an hp product it still didn’t work with my laptop

did not work with the HP laptop that i purchased. So i had to return it.

It didn't work for my hp elite book. It was a huge waste if money.

I just received my pen to go with my HP Spectre x360 15in (model 15-BL112DX). I was unsure whether it was compatible - I'm finding it is hard to identify the proper Spectre accessories. This pen does work with the 2017 model, and it works great, in my opinion. The sensitivity of touch really comes in handy when sketching/ coloring which allows different shading. However, I wish the buttons weren't in this location, as I often press them accidentally if I'm holding the pen a certain way. It would also be great if there were a magnet similar to the Surface Pen so you could attach it to the computer.

I bought this for my daughter who is 13 and is homeschooled using her laptop. She wanted this specifically so she could draw with it. I'm not savvy with these pens so I'm just relaying that she loved it. She is very comfortable using it. She has used her laptop to draw very beautiful pictures, using this pen in coordination with it. Checking out with Best buy.com has been a great experience.

I personally don't like this pen. The only reason I have it is because it was included with the laptop I bought. I have tried to like the pen but I just don't. I have attempted to use it just to take notes and more often than not it is not responsive. It's like it is constantly running out of battery, but I check the battery with another pen I have and it works just fine. Another thing I don't like is the shape of the pen. When I first grabbed it I was rotating it to find the most comfortable position to write with and I just couldn't find one. The other pen I have has a rectangular shape which made it more ergonomic, whereas this one is just cylindrical. If you get is as a gift, well, okay. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend buying it.

This pen will only write with the HP spectre x360. The buttons are not compatible. HP support attempted to resolve the issue for hours. This pen will be returned because it is garbage.
