Any slight movement and the other connection slides apart. Returned the adapter to the store.

It works

The hp charger recommended by sales person works. I keep getting notices that my system will not work to capacity. Not sure why. Also it gets really hot when charging.

Unit's plug receptacle not compatible with power

The holes and slot on the replacement unit are not compatible with the original power cord. The unit can be used but now I have to plug the whole unit into the power outlet. This severely shortens the distance that I can place my laptop from my power outlet and is not as safe as using a long power cord. Why would you create a unit where I can remove the actual plug from the power unit and not be able to plug the power cord in?

Made computer do strange things

Forgot primary power cord at home. This cord made the screen flash, and would not charge the computer properly. Cord was returned and computer continues to work well with the primary power cord
