I bought this keyboard to replace the one that came with my HP touchsmart about 3 years ago. It works flawlessly. I am also excited to read the review that says its compatible with a Mac since I plan on making that my next computer in the next few months.

    Great Quality and Price

This review is being written by a person born before the first computer was built. Therefore, I appreciate something that installs quickly and easily. I unpacked the keyboard, placed the receiver into an open USB port, pulled out the battery contact separator on the bottom of the keyboard, booted up the computer and began typing. Can't get any easier than that! The keys have a great feel when typing. Just enough tension to avoid double keying yet without missing a stroke. I appreciate being able to control from the keyboard the sound volume, sleep mode, and opening Internet Explorer and the Windows Help screen. It would be nice having indicators for Caps Lock On, Numbers Lock, etc. But as a friend said, "You'll know when the batteries need changed when you can't type anymore!" This Scot is pleased with the quality and features for the price paid.

    Nice Keyboard

Overall I love this wireless keyboard. I don't know why I did not purchase one sooner. The freedom it allows is great. It is not bulky like my wired keyboard. Quick setup and ready to use in a minute. I have no complaints and am so glad that I purchased the HP keyboard. It is quality all the way around.

    Great Feel

Love this product. I am a Mac user at home and love the feel of the keyboard, however, my work computer would not support the Mac keyboard. Seems that HP has started using the "scissor-type" keys (like Apple) and I love it. They have great tactile response and setting up the keyboard was a snap.

Windows alternative for Apple aluminum keyboard.

I've been searching forever for a Windows-based alternative for the wonderful Apple aluminum keyboard, and I've finally found it in this product. If you have the same goal, this is the keyboard for you. It's just as slim as the Apple keyboard, the keys feel exactly the same, and the key layout is built for Windows. Other differences between this and the Apple keyboard are that it's wireless, which isn't an option with the Apple unless you didn't want the number pad. The Apple keyboard offers 2 USB ports underneath it, which this does not, because it's wireless. The only other downside is that this keyboard uses AAA batteries, which I don't have around my house anymore, since almost nothing seems to use them these days.

This keyboard was purchased to replace a original wireless keyboard that came with my HP desktop which I owned for over four years. So far I like the feel and the weight and I am hoping for lots of use.

Worked just like it should No wires, no fuss Plugged it in and I was in business. I like the feel of the keys and the low profile When I added a Wireless Mouse syncing/pairing was very easy (easier than a wired mouse)

    HP Wireless Keyboard

I really was concerned that I wouldn't like the keys on this. It has short throw chiclet keys like the newer HP laptops. Turns out that I really like it. They work very well. My only complaint is there are no indicator lights for caps lock or num lock. This is a real issue in my opinion.

HP made this a great keyboard

This was a bang for your buck keyboard when it was on sale for $19.99. This keyboard works good for my homemade docking station. When you plug this in you can not even see the USB port. For Mac users, I do not know if it works with that OS. Out of all the keyboards to get, this is, to me, a 5 out of 5.

    Very Good

I have purchased 3 of these units over past several years. Very handy for lightweight travel. Always use with my PC Notebook. No problems ex perienced. Front height supports (to raise front of keyboard) is most fragile part of unit. Would desire more durable style for traveling and 'tight' packing of unit in luggage.

    Keys often not responsive

    Posted .

I took advantage of the $19.99 price on this wireless keyboard as I wanted to update my prior HP keyboard (with which I have had no problems). This was easy to set up and I had hoped I would love it. I do a significant amount of writing and type very fast. But this keyboard was terrible. It slowed me down significantly because the keys were often not responsive - I've used many keyboards over the years and I've never had this problem before. I tried lighter touch, heavier touch, etc - and could touch a key a dozen times and get nothing. When I needed to delete something, the delete key was extremely unresponsive. So, I will keep on using my older keyboard for now and return this one. Very disappointed - I was excited to get it. Btw - I have an HP computer, which I love, so disappointed and suprised that this keyboard just would not work well at all.

Good Wireless Keyboard, but Has Some Faults

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Good: The product worked right out of the box. The keyboard is responsive with minimum lag. Surprisingly good reception, given how small the receiver is. The bad: No LED on NumLock or Caps Lock buttons. No multi-media keys

    Great full size wireless keyboard.....

A great wireless keyboard! The keys feel great with typing, and are extremely quiet. It also installs quickly with just plugging in the USB dongle. The only reason I'm not keeping it is that it is too big for my work space at work. Otherwise I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid, well rounded wireless keyboard at this price point.
