Bought this as I have an HTC One with the intent of attaching the Fetch to my spouses DSLR Camera bag. She recently "misplaced" the camera bag with camera and lenses safely inside, and thankfully a good samaritan turned it into Lost and Found. Having read reviews on Amazon that were quite mixed, I decided to give it a try given the cheaper price that Best Buy has it for. WARNING: DO NOT be fooled by the picture and read the "Contents" section. You are NOT getting the Fetch with the keyring attached. You are getting the Fetch, with a small eyelet for attaching to whatever you want. I contacted both Best Buy and HTC and was told, this was not included but might be offered by certain merchants. On to the review. Pros: Simple to use Simple to pair Cons: Removing Battery Cover Replacing Batter Cover After removing the battery cover to remove the little plastic doohickey that lets the battery make contact, then replacing the battery cover (the whole time thinking i was going to break it), I fired it up. I turned on Bluetooth on my phone, and it found it right away. It also placed a shortcut on my phones home screen for accessing the Fetch features. Nice. Whether finding the phone or the fetch, the response time was quick. I tested this at work, with the Fetch attached to my keys, and once out of range, my phone alarmed and I immediately got an email with the coordinates. When I clicked on the link to the map, I was a bit astonished that the location of the Fetch was a bit off, by about 1/8 mile. Mind you this was inside a multistory building withOUT GPS on. I have not had the opportunity to test with the GPS feature on, but I believe this would still assist me in finding the Fetch if I truly lost it. In the case of the aforementioned camera case, it would have helped. I have NOT tested the camera shutter option just yet either, but then again I had to send my M7 in to fix the purple haze issue when in low light. I will attempt to update this review (if I can) when my phone is returned.

The novelty of the gadget struck me more than the performance. It is useful when your phone slips into the couch cushions, but if the bluetooth signal gets interrupted just long enough, the alarm goes off.
