The combination of the HTC One M8 metal and Windows 8.1 OS is tough to beat. The HTC needs no shield or case. The shape is such that I can keep in my pocket with no concerns of bending and breaking, it's super durable. The front speakers sound great. The Windows 8.1 OS makes for an attractive start page, has all of the apps I need to hit the ground running, plus Office and tons of available games. The Windows core networking is second to none, totally SharePoint aware with an on demand VPN feature for enterprise side. The Outlook client easily plugs into a huge list of services. The assistant Cortana has amazing voice recognition The keyboard is richer than any I've ever seen. The multitasking is uneventful (in a good way), I can do anything while on a call, projecting my screen to a TV, while offering a Wi-Fi Hotspot, etc... Really good stuff!

Overall very happy with my phone. The screen is bright and the overall layout of the buttons is great. The sound is good and the overall feel and weight of the phone is great, not flimsy but not too heavy either. Windows 8.1 is very good and fun to play around with. The os is fast and moving around and setting up the phone is easy. It does getting some use to having tiles but I found them to be easy to setup. The live tiles are great and Cortana seems to be just as good as Siri and google. Overall its a great phone with a easy but quick os.

I love this phone! This phone makes no compromises. The screen is great for reading mobile web sites, Netflix, games, etc. The build quality is real solid which is great because I don't like using cases. The Windows operating system makes everything fast and fluid. No more waiting for apps to open!
