I love this phone got it on the cyber Monday deal $150.00 screen size is awesome and pretty clear in daylight. The battery is incredible I have gotten up to 2 full days on a single charge. I have medium size hands and can manage one hand use good. Sound is superb! For the tech geeks I have the Nexus 5 also there is very little difference in speed from the 600 vs 800 chip at least not for the casual user who will basically make calls text social media email music apps and a game or 2 it is super fast and if you are upgrading from a GS 2 like me its night and day! The build quality is top shelf solid feel not to light or too heavy the only rival out there for this is the Lumia 1520.

Switched from the 4glte to this phone so there wasnt a huge learning curve. The screen is just the right size and it runs pretty fast.

Cant wait to upgrade. The Samsung brand has been great as I and my family all own a cell phone product in the galaxy line up. This phone is great, would have preferred the note but battery issues have forced its recall but I will definitely upgrade again into the Samsung product line.

This sleek and durable phone is beautiful inside and out! The display is bright and clear, even outside. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor is super fast, and even though the back cameras could be better, it still takes a great picture and vivid HD 1080 video. The front wide-angle camera is perfect! Oh, and I love the front facing speakers!! (No more cupping my hand at the back speaker to hear!!) The sound is amazing for such small speakers!! I had music playing through it on my desk at work, and co-workers were shocked to realize it was coming from my phone! Now when using it as a GPS in the car, I can hear the driving instructions very clearly. I'm so impressed with it, and I know I'm forgetting tons to share with you why you NEED to have this phone, but with the 14 day exchange policy, this is a MUST TRY at least! I'm sure you'll keep it and be glad you did. I don't really care for the BlinkFeed, but I guess I need to get used to it. For now, I have turned that off. The HTC M8 does all I want it to and MORE! This is my all-time most favorite cell phone!! I am very pleased with the size and it is actually very comfortable to use and reach the buttons, etc. No complaints of the phone being too large at all. I LOVE IT!

Unbeatable Build Quality and a Screen Size

So it's been about 3 weeks that I have had my HTC One Max, Which I got from a giveaway at a #HTCElevate Meet Up. Hosted by the great Jason Dunn . So I just wanted to share my thoughts on the device. Previously coming from the Phone Of The Year the HTC One, which had everything I wanted in a phone only thing that had been missing was a larger screen coming from the HTC Evo LTE the HTC One didn't add anything in the screen size department but the higher resolution screen was a big difference. Keep in mind the Samsung Galaxy Note line had been calling my name for quite some time because of the screen size. So when the One Max was announced I knew I had to have it. HTC took everything that was great from the HTC One and added to it with the addition of 5.9 screen size, not 100% on this but slightly bigger and louder speakers, the loss of beats audio isnt a bummer as I'm a fan of hip hop so the added bass was great for me but the speakers on the Max do not disappoint, the loss in beats audio is made up with a huge battery and addition of a Micro SD Card slot. The battery life on the HTC One Max is crazy good the One got me through almost a good portion of the day but with the Max I'm not worried about rushing home to find a charger towards the end of the night. Sense 5.5 also adds a few enhancements over sense 5. Improved BlinkFeed added sources and better control over what you see on your feed. I believe the TV app also received some enhancements, but I had a Xbox One since Nov 22nd so I haven't used the Sense TV app because the Xbox handles all my tv needs. The only thing that was lacking in on the One Max was lack of software to support the added screen size. Sense is such a great and beautiful Skin for Android so as to why they couldn't have used there knowledge and expertise to make software designed for the added screen space beats me, maybe a lack of time or something. Hopefully if they make a HTC One Max successors then it will add that to the list of things that needs to be added. They did however add a app called Scribble which proves they can make great software for a larger screen device. To sum this up I just wanna state if you are in the market for a larger screen device for media consumption, work, or gaming or just to have a large screen and prefer outstanding build quality and premium materials, with battery life to get you through a full day. Then rest assure you can get the HTC One Max and be completely satisfied.

I have been an htc girl for about 5 years. I will not consider another phone. I ungraded from EVO but for some reason it seems like the evo had more options and I feel kind of like the phone looks great but missing something. The phone came preloaded with a million and 1 apps that I don't need and features appear to be limited. the sound quality is great, the signal strength, look, battery life are all much improved. I have only had it for 2 weeks. Let me see if there is anything else i may be missing but right now I feel like something is missing. I still think ipphone is overrated LOL

Long time IPhone fan, switched to HTC one because bigger screen but not too humongous. This phone comes with all the functions of the Galaxy, plus Beats audio dual front speakers. Renewed contracted during Black Friday and waived activation fees.

Good phone, but beware of "HTC Advantage"

Upgraded to this phone just over a month ago from a local phone store. The phone has been great and love the fact that not only does it have 32GB of internal storage, but that you can also use an external micro-SD card. One pitfall, though, is that they took a "feature" from Apple in that you can not replace the battery. So, hopefully the battery can last at least two years before my next upgrade eligibility from Sprint. Now for the reason of only 3 starts. HTC has an extended warranty for these phones under their "HTC Advantage" program that states they will do a one time free replacement of a "cracked, scratched, or broken screen" in the first six months of ownership. Well, unfortunately, something happened with the screen not from a drop, which is actually covered, or from other than normal use. I really wish I knew what happened. I contacted HTC and sent it in for evaluation only to be told that it was not covered and would cost $200 to repair. I've requested HTC to contact me to discuss, as per their repair website, but they seem to have no interest in doing so. As far as I'm concerned, this should be covered, but since it is up to them to determine, the only thing I can do is pay to have it repaired. I've owned a HTC Evo 4G for 4 years with no issues. Is there a company around anymore that has the integrity to actually honor their warranties?
