I found the Vive Pro was easy to setup and use. I purchase the headset only and purchased the controllers and base station separately. So there was a little more work involved. I would recommend purchasing the full kit if you can. That way you will get everything you need to get up and running fast.

Really good quality VR experience, however with the base stations being required, it is a bit of an ordeal setting it all up and breaking it down so you don't always have wires everywhere in between uses. I use it mostly with my racing simulator and when its all setup it is the most immersive racing experience you can have without the smells of an actual racecar.

Flight sims and racing games are by far my favorite thing to do in VR. Having the necessary accessories (joystick, steering wheel, etc) really helps the experience too.

It takes a fair bit of work to get up and running with a VR experience on the VIVE Pro, and you need a PC with good performance and graphics capabilities. Nice quality hardware; picture quality is OK. It's not something I use on a regular basis, which makes the cost hard to justify. I think VR will continue to get better in the upcoming years, but it's not for everyone... yet.

Not as sharp as I thought it would be. Built in head phones are a major plus.

Been a Vive VR user for a while now and decided to upgrade to the Pro version. The light trackers and controllers are all compatible. Still get a little screen door effect but visual quality is much better. When you add the wireless adapter, its a great PC VR next to the Index.

outstanding VR headset. Originally had the lower resolution headset, but got this for higher resolution. I highly recommend this headset if you want Virtual reality.

Quality headset but not inexpensive. By the time I purchased all the needed equipment for this set, it was close to 1600$. Not for those on a budget!!

I thought when I bought the better headset than that would be it ... NoPE! Apparently we needed to buy a $800 graphics card two $150 base stations and a wireless adapter among other things just for her to play it . So if u are considering this for your kid don’t donit . Lol I’m $2500 deep in this headset and she said she still needs more crap for it .

So I had the VIVE and the Oculus and I am happy I upgraded to the PRO hit change the eye lines. Any ? on that look up on the internet

My 12 year old loves this . It is the best out there yet I think. It feels so real.

I've been in graphics for decades and this is the most impressive thing I've ever seen. I happen to be running it on the best equipment possible, but even lower settings impress. Issues: 1. This order (HMD-Only) is currently a paper weight. You need base-stations and controllers for it to operate. 2. You need a top of the line desktop computer, m.2 drive, gtx 1080ti or better, $350 cpu or better, to enjoy the absolute best of this.
