The world of VR is amazing and the vive is a great machine. The wires can be cumbersome but the graphics are amazing.

The HTC Vive is pretty awesome, I had my doubts about using the VR as I am an old gamer. But the wife and I love this thing as much as the kids do. Highly recommend to anyone that is thinking about making the leap to VR.

My son was so excited about this. We got it for him for Christmas. I read reviews about it being difficult to install so I ordered installation package from geek squad. My agent did an amazing job with set up and describing how to use this product. I am guessing my sons computer is not powerful enough to use this product. It is always loading. The games are hard to play. The headgear gives me a headache, makes me feel dizzy, and nauseous. I am very disappointed after investing $743 on this product.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my 17 year old son (seasoned gamer) and he loves it. He had the Samsung VR with his Galaxy phone but this is a whole other level. He researched for a long time, compared like products / pricing and asked friends. No regrets......performs as expected. He's SUPER happy with the purchase.

Im new to the VR scene. I was originally going to get the Oculus Rift, but after a great salesman at my local Best Buy gave me the lowdown on Vive versus Oculus, IM SO GLAD I bought the Vive. Easy to setup, easy to use programming, and EASILY up-gradable and fits properly on my head. If you are looking for the VR experience for the price, THIS is the go-to.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The VIVE is hands down the best VR around. The fact that you can outline your play area for safety is untouchable, it will actually tell you when your getting close to a wall or something. It’s a must!! The material of the device is durable and excellent quality!

Love the HTC Vive, got to play it once before owning it and knew I wanted my own. Ordered it and 3 days before it expected to arrive, I got the email for it saying it's ready for pick-up. I was ecstatic and everything works great. I couldn't be happier with this, it's so much fun.

Even family that think it's too much for them have enjoyed this product. Tons of free content to explore and we just purchased 4 games through Stream.

I came into this system after having PSVR for months. This is an improvement on so many ways that the heavier headset is not a big issue. The tracking is unbelievable and the controllers are great. A must have accessory for any pc gamer

Picked up one of these late 2018 / early 2019 and have had a ton of fun with it. VR is such a fast moving technology, so if you're new to the market of VR, I'd look towards something newer like the Index (or maybe something even newer). But for the time it came out, and the price it cost, i was more than pleased. All the equipment was well built and sturdy, surviving some rough handling every once in a while. Performance was very smooth and consistent as well, never had problems with the lightboxes, controllers, or headset, and i put a few hundred hours in. Haven't had any issues with compatibility, Vive worked with everything i tried, and the controllers always had decent integration in games. I believe Vive also offers a service similar to Xbox Game Pass where you can play a library of games for a monthly subscription, which i haven't tried but may sweeten the deal for you. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

With the Oculus I had issues with the tracking cutting out and making me sick. With the Vive, tracking is flawless and you have everything you need out of the box for a room scale setup in almost any size you need it in. The 4/5 star is only because I think this should have came with the upgraded headband from the start rather than the fabric headband you get out of the box. Extra $100 on top of the price for the headset but definitely worth it!

Love this vr headset. Only downfall is, when you have to update, the mounted sensor have to be taken down and then plugged in to get an update. I just bought camera stands so I didn't have to unmount them ever again. Either way, this is a super fun system, and i would recommend this to everyone. Super easy to set up!

This was a combined birthday and Christmas present for my son. I admit that I was skeptical at first but he really lives it. He enjoys the interactive feature so that he can meet up with his friends in the virtual world. Only warning I have is that after several hrs, he gets motion sick and has to stop.

This system still holds up today! May not be as advanced resolution and refresh rate as the new ones but if you’re looking for that experience and are on a budget, grab the original while you can. I play all my games with no problems. Love VR! It’s the future

I like it, it performs well. The experience is great. The controllers are nice. The motion tracking is awesome. Like the cable management design. Build quality is really good.

The HTC Vive, for me, has been the best virtual reality experience I've had. This product is by far the best in the market right now if you are trying to choose the right headset. I do recommend you get the additional equipment for it. However, it is plenty awesome without it.

once i got the hang of it, I can't stop using it with all the games i purchased. Will be a fine winter!

I purchased this for my son who uses it all the time, sometimes hard to break him away from it! I tried one of the virtual reality games, Beat Saber, and it was like nothing I've experienced before! It's a pricey toy, but really amazing and so far no technical issues.

Using this for development of VR training for classes. It works great. Can’t complain.
