Phone works great! I use a lot of apps simultaneously and the phone rarely ever lags. I also do a lot of video chatting and still manage to get through the day without charging the phone. Best bang for the buck.

I originally wanted to purchase the new Pixel XL phone, but I did not believe it was worth the outrageous price Google was asking for it. So, I decided to purchase the dark grey Nexus 6P, 64gb. The hardware feels nice in my hand and was a lot thinner than anticipated. The touchscreen feels nice and is very responsive. The speakers are in the front of the device , so sound gets very loud, which is nice when watching videos. No sd card slot, so I'm stuck with 64gb, which should be plenty. I don't recommend 32gb though. I upgraded to Android Nougat, then to developer preview of 7.1.1. Everything is working smoothly, and battery life is great. I definitely recommend this phone.

This phone was a stellar build for about the first 8 months. The octo-core was a real work horse, front and rear camera quality were great, the battery longevity was very nice. Aesthetically it had a very comfortable feel, partly because of the metal body and great quality finger print sensor in the back. Unfortunately the phone became riddled with issues, first early shut down issues, then rapid battery drain and overheating, and thermal throttling. It did not perform well in hot or cold weather conditions, even with minimal screen time. These issues were generally 'quality of life' problems that could be muddled through until finally in late May/early June of this year, the 6P became stuck perpetual bootloop. Sometimes bootloop is resolved by bypassing the bootloader, or via recovery mode factory reset. Neither of these resolved the problem on my phone, rendering the phone a very sleek, lightweight, golden paperweight after less than two years use, regardless of the fact that the phone is like new with no physical damage except for minor cosmetic blemishes. High hopes, great specifications on paper, disappointing in real life.

This is the phone I should've gotten in the first place, rather than the Z3 I did buy from T-mobile. It has worked excellent, no hiccups thus far and the battery has been nearly as good as my Z3. The fingerprint sensor has been a pleasant surprise.

My experience with this phone: battery life is excellent, gets me through the day even with fairly heavy use. There's a lot to like, but more than anything this camera is excellent. I get color and no blur in photos that would have been nothing more than a black square on previous cameras. Easily my favorite phone I've ever owned (iPhones, Samsung phones are the others I have owned, and I work with several devices).

Slim, great battery life, excellent screen, very good camera, and in a category often ignored for some reason, extremely good phone call quality. (Carrier tested is T-Mobile)

Google had great idea going this direction with the Nexus 6p. Great performance. Great screen. Great camera and the unique look is worth the second looks I get!

I purchased the 6p and have had it about a month now. It has enough RAM/processor speed that it doesn't get hung up on apps. The dual front speakers are great and the camera is really good. Great phone

This phone features a fantastic metal design, and a gorgeous quad HD screen. Now with Android 7.0 you can also set the DPI of the screen to your preference so that's another plus. At first I had trouble adjusting to the physical size of it since I was coming from an iPhone 5S which is dwarfed in comparison to the Nexus 6P, but in a few weeks this size feels normal. I've switched back and forth between Android and iOS from the Galaxy S2 days, and I've always preferred iPhone overall because of their industrial design. Lately, Apple's been making some poor design decisions; they know it too because they hid the camera bump in the marketing materials for their iPhones. On the other hand, Android OEMs have really stepped up their design game, and this phone is the proof in the pudding (along with others like the Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC 10, OnePlus 3, etc). Not to mention, Android has been maturing into a beautiful, fluid, and functional mobile OS while iOS stagnates, still locking its users into the use cases that Apple deems "correct." I decided I'm longer gonna let a corporation decide how I want to use my property. I will give one thing to Apple though, their software updates are pretty much on point (the only problem being they'll issue a final update that hammers the nail in the coffin for old devices, making it unusable and slow). If you can get this phone on sale I guarantee you will not regret it. The Nexus phones, ever since the Nexus 4, have always had some design gimmick that makes the phones stand out. The Nexus 4 had the glass back with the tiny square pattern. The Nexus 5 (in black at least), was a flat black slate at the front and had an interesting camera hump in the back, where when I laid the phone on the table people would ask "ooh what phone is that?". The Nexus 6P is no exception, the camera "visor" gives the phone a unique look, and in the frost white color it really does remind me of a storm trooper. The only issue I have is that I wish the volume rocker switch was on the left side. I am used to hitting the volume buttons with my right thumb now (I'm right handed), but I still would have preferred them on the left. In conclusion, I highly recommend this phone and you should grab one if you can find it on sale.

First of all the hardware and software on this phone are top notch. Phone oozes premium. Screen is gorgeous. On to the software, this phone is smooth as butter. Zero lag running marshmallow. Just amazing. I ended up returning it, however, because it would not hold a connection to 4G LTE. It would drop 4G coverage and never get it back without a reboot, switching settings or turning on airplane mode. It was very annoying. Google is aware of the issue but apparently isn't worried about it. It ruined the experience for me. If you can get around this issue, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this phone. For the price, it's a steal.

I love this phone, it has all the top end features of a flagship phone, at a great price. I easily get 2 days on battery life, and have yet to bog down the phone due to apps being open.

I love the camera quality! I love the sleek look of the phone. I'm dependent on the fingerprint recognition to turn on the phone. I only have positive things to say about this phone :-)

Great buy even in 2016 the battery life is average I get 3 SOT or sometimes even 4-5 hrs but I love the speakers many people often say they sound like a Bluetooth speaker. The camera is great too not as good as the S7 but it's clear and captures a lot of detail. The display is the best on the device too. Great buy especially on sale

This phone exceeds my expectations. One of the best phones out there for the price point. A must buy for people needing a premier phone but are on a limited budget.

I bought the golden Nexus 6 and I can't be more satisfied. It's fast, looks great and works perfectly. Haven't faced any issue till now. I had a Nexus 5 before this. And since then I've really liked Google phones. Pros - sleek and slim - fast - latest tech - light weight - good camera Cons - none yet

The Nexus experience has been awesome. The camera takes great photos, the finger print scanner is spot on every time. Would recommend to everyone.

I like this phone, it is a little bigger than what I'm use to but overall is a great phone. The screen resolution is beautiful and the battery life is good for heavy use.

I got the phone for personal use in Europe, its an amazing phone: super cool pictures, great sound, very fast charging, really adequate to my needs. The Nexus 6p is very a very fast and easy to use phone. I couldn't be more glad of my choice. Only con thing I would say is the size for some people, but you get used to it after a while.

It was time for a new phone, so I searched for the best ones currently on the market. I whittled my choices down two; the Samsung 6 or 7, and the Nexus 6P. I chose the Nexus and haven't been disappointed. The phone, while being 5.7" diagonal, fits comfortably in my hand. But the one aspect which has sold me on this phone is the excellent cellphone reception I'm now getting. With my previous Samsung 4G, reception on the T-Mobile network was horrible, rarely getting more than a 50% signal strength. Now, I usually have at a minimum, 90-100% signal strength. The phone (or phablet as the case may be) is quite speedy with the current processor, memory, and Android 6.0. I also picked up the Verus High Pro Shield Satin Silver w/ Brushed Metal Texture finish which is a perfect fit and looks like it is part of the phone. All said, I am very happy with this phone and would recommend it to a friend.

IT IS A FANTASTIC PHONE. IT LASTED ME A YEAR AND A HALF AND THEN IT RANDOMULY DIED. IT GOT STUCK IN A BOOTLOOP. I WAS REALLY UPSET BECAUSE THE PHONE WAS EXPENSIVE AND IT WAS A FANTASTIC GOOGLE STOCK PHONE. I READ ONLINE THAT MANY CUSTOMERS WERE HAVING ISSUES WITH THE BOOTLOOP PROBLEM WHICH BASICALLY TURNED THE PHONE INTO A PAPERWEIGHT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PHONE BECAUSE FOR SOME PEOPLE THE PHONE DIED AFTER JUST SIX MONTHS.
