This phone is pure Android and how a smartphone should be, those front speakers are good for videos and camera is good.

This has hands down been the best Android device I've ever owned. Came from Samsung Note 4 and never going back to a non-vanilla phone. Pure Android is EXACTLY the experience I have been craving.... The only negative, good luck finding a charger or type c cable anywhere...even in Salem, the capital city of Oregon I could not track down a charger. Even at Best Buy, they didn't have anything...I was pretty frustrated, as this device has been out for quite some time.

The Nexus 6p is my biggest phone yet. It looks great, feels better now with a TPU silicone clear case and tempered glass screen protector on. Screen size is more than satisfying because I mostly use my SmartPhone for GPS. Still difficult to text though. Videos are great but close-up photos are disappointing. It did get hot twice in the first week while I used Google Maps, but me bad because I had not figured where open-app screens had gone. I'm relieved the Nexus GP has been cool in every way since. Almost bought the Samsung Note 7 for Stylus but I'm overall happy big cell-phone provider jerked back an unbelievable Note 7 deal from me after all. Love that there's no provider junk apps (or bloatware) duplicating Google apps. My phone bill will be half now from what it was. Nexus 6p will pay for itself in one year. Best Buy did offer a great price on the 64GB version during its 50th Anniversary special. So now I can download behemoth apps like Cornell's Merlin to enjoy.

Fastest phone I have ever used, battery life is great! I love the stock Android, no crapware and fast upgrades.

Its a good phone. But cost is more. Cost should be 400 Camera is awesome. Battery backup low, specially after use of 1+ year.

Did a lot of research beforehand and the phone lived up to the hype in every way. Clean, fast, you name it!

Very impressive smartphone, fast , stylish and working great

I purchased the 64GB model of the Nexus 6P. Phone conversations are very clear. AMOLED screen is superb. It is not small (5.7" screen) but feels good in my hand. It is slippery without a case. Transferring the software from my old Samsung phone was quick and easy. The phone works perfectly with Android Auto where as my Samsung had a number of intermittent problems and loss of signal. The battery lasts for more than a day (depending on use). Charging is very quick with USB C and supplied charger. The one feature I miss is an infrared blaster to use the phone as a remote for my cameras. All in All, I am very happy with the phone and receiving monthly Android security updates unlike Samsung which hardly ever updates previous models. I am looking forward to running Android 7.0 which is rolling out now. A new model is due out any time now but Best Buy price on this model was excellent.

It's been an year and it works very smooth. Great Camera and battery life.

Bought this phone over one year ago to replace a broken Samsung Galaxy S3 that died exactly 2 years old. Experienced green lines on edge shortly after n was replaced promptly without any hassle. Like its battery life and HDR function of camera.

I've owned lots of phones, from cheap $200 phones to Samsung Galaxy Note and all sorts of Android platforms. This phone is clean, simple, friendly UI. Always be the first to get updates from Google with this phone, latest software patches, updates, bug fixes, just a really great phone. Front facing speakers are loud, really some of the best speakers I've heard in a while on a cellphone.

My first impression is WOW, phone design is elegant, performance is top-notch. Worth for money . Almost same specs as Samsung S6.

I really like this phone....it is a bit larger than the one I had but that's not a problem....it is unlocked, which I love that idea - I can choose any carrier I want...I went with Tracphone..Love the speakers! Clear and Loud....sounds great. I like the fact that it didn't come with extra software that I don't want or need. It has a really great camera also...so much you can do with this phone....Buy it....you will not be disappointed....I purchased mine in GOLD.....and I got a clear case for it....the gold is so pretty I wanted to be able to see it.... I have owned Apple cell phones and Samsung also....this one is the best... Thank you for reading my review.

You definitely feel quality. Smooth, very slim, fits in my pocket just fine. I like the un-altered Android that comes on the Google phones. Updates are quicker. Has a long battery life. The phone performs well for all of the apps I run on it.

Never owned a Huawei device before, and I have to say I am pleased. I am coming from a Note 5, and this phone is a little bit bigger, but still feels good in the hand. I put a clear case from Spigen on it, and a black carbon dBrand skin, it looks great. Have had no issues with this phone yet, and would recommend it to anyone looking for the stock Android experience.

I admit it - I was spoiled. I had a Samsung 5 phone with a Samsung Gear 2 watch that I loved. Then I decided to go to Google Fi to save some money, which required my purchasing a Nexus phone. It was a seamless transition from one to the other. I like the fingerprint unlock, the large screen, the battery life, and how it connects so easily with my Huawei smartwatch. I liked it so much I bought my grandson one too, and moved him over to our Google Fi plan too.

Fast. Great screen. Feels smaller than it is. Decent battery life.

I have owned the 6P for 4 months now. I was extremely satisfied with this phone until the volume rocker button dented simply from pressing on it. Let me say that again, I pressed the volume up portion of the rocker and it left a crease in the button metal! The phone was always kept in a protective case, was never dropped was handled with care. Although I was disappointed at first, I didn't think this would be a big deal until I was out of town on business and the battery died as I was arriving at the airport. I gave the phone a quick charge and tried to power it back on. NOPE! Since the volume rocker was creased it was apparently causing the phone's boot menu to run on power up. I could not get the phone past this menu no matter how hard I tried. This caused me quite a few problems. Lucky for me I was on my way back home instead of just leaving to go out of town. This led me to research the problem online. To my surprise this is a well documented problem experienced by MANY 6P owners. I had to contact Huawei for warranty support. The process was quick, but rather odd. They immediately asked me to email them a photo of the damage. I sent the photo and I received multiple, somewhat confusing communications back from them. One of them being a RMA number and then another was for a UPS shipping label. I packed my phone up and sent it back to Huawei for review. It has only been a few days, so I have no idea how this will turn out. I suspect they will either repair the button or send me a refurbished phone. Either way it is a bad situation to be in. I had to get a loaner phone to use during this process and that wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the process involved to have my work email added to a device (painful). I really liked the phone until this happened, but I am not sure it is worth the hassle when you run into a problem not to mention the buttons should never be made of material that can bend so easily. I would avoid all Huawei phones until they can prove they build better phones.

Both the front and back camera have an amazing quality, and the speakers and display are beyond compare, but the phone itself only lasts a few hours on battery with the default settings and all haptic feedback (vibration during touch) off. It is overall a great phone, but will not even half a day with moderate use.
