However, I found the phone slightly sluggish on heavy use, and even freezes when lots of apps are open. Definately not a high end phone, but a good mid level phone for a great price.

We understand that this issue can be really frustrating, however, in order to improve the speed of your Honor 6X, we kindly suggest you to follow the next steps:
a) You can clear up the processes that are running on the background. On the home screen click the square button or recent button, swipe upward from the bottom of the screen to clear up all the apps.
b) We kindly suggest you to use the phone manager app. Once you are in the Phone Manager app click "scan" after scanning is completed tap touch to optimize to free al the memory with just one tap. You can also directly tap phone accelerator to close excessive number of backstage operating programs.
c) Lagging device may be caused by insufficient storage space. In the phone manager app tap storage cleaner to scan the storage space. Properly clear up all the trash files can also accelerate the response speed of apps.
d) Upgrade the apps: Some lagging problems in the apps are caused by the abnormality of the apps. In Play Store tap menu icon and installed, under my apps, once you are in this menu upgrade your apps. uninstalling unused apps will also enhanced running speed.

The battery lasts a long time and with various battery power saving options. Love the fingerprint features to scroll text, answer phone, and unlock phone without having to type a pin number all the time, although it does make you use a pin every 2 days to log into the phone. Screen is very bright and has various settings. Updating OS versions is easy to do. Backup and restore works perfectly when needing or wanting to go back to phone default settings. The only fault I saw with this phone is the default ringtones are not loud enough for my deaf ears. Problem is easily solved by downloading a loud ringtone app.

What I wanted was a phone with aleast 32g and similar to a Moto Z or Samsung for an inexpensive price. I paid $199.00 and so far this phone has more than met my expectations. I would say that for this price it is worth the modest investment.

It is a really nice phone. The fingerprint reading is quick and easy to use. I went from a Samsung galaxy note 5 to this phone and was concerned about noticeable differences. Octacore processer, two lense camera and fingerprint lock, also duel sim card, I won't use it but it's cool. one draw back is it only has 400 something display, shoots 1080 pics but only displays 460. Most power yet, money saving Android phone

A little laggy but overall great
