Very Fast.. No Lag at All... I just popped in my SD Card and all my my stuff is there... I was blown away by the camera.. It has Pro mode (Can adjust shutter speed, ISO, Exposure and even Manual Focus) for both Photo and Video and the dual camera totally expand the way you take pictures to whole new level. It even handles High Graphic applications with ease..!!! The best feature to me is able to adjust my phone screen(Color Corrections)... I made few adjustments and it displays same colors as my laptop. So any picture/video I take looks exactly the same so I can make adjustments better.. Loving it!!!!

I bought the phone to replace my Nexus 6P which stopped working. I did not have time to do research on the Honor 8 before buying. I am glad i bought it though. It actually feels as easy to use as my previous phone and I didn't experience a much or a learning gap between phones. I've had it for about a month now and the battery life is awesome. I was a little worried about it having a glass front and back but now i love it. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The phone looks nice and has a very good camera. The software and the fingerprint scanner is not bad either. The bad thing I can say about this phone is that it's too slippery and you need to get a case for it ASAP. Also the phone is made of glass so it cracks easily with the smallest of drops. I had my HTC one m8 for more than 2 years now and after dropping it numerous times it never broke. This phone broke in my first week. Otherwise it's a good budget phone.

I don't think you can find a better phone for the price. It's been super smooth, takes great pictures and I get good battery life. A definite buy

I took pictures through my Yellow Stone trip, and it was doing the job the way better than the iphone 6s/Plus. If you think Samsung is good, then I will tell you this is better than that cuz you will know that Samsung's phones will become slower and slower after some time, but this Huawei won't. So nice, and so great deal!

This is an absolutely magnificent phone for the price! An unlocked phone of this quality without the bloatware is wonderful. I love the feel of it in my hand it's very thin although a little slick so I recommend a case. I love the interface it's very fast and very easy to use.

When I originally purchased my Honor 8 it was on accommodation and because I wanted to check out the new features. I wasn't expecting much after I read reviews and most weren't favorable to the ZTE Axon 7. Now the Axon 7 is better, but in some respects the Honor 8 revolutionizes what a smart phone should be. The Honor 8's fingerprint sensor is absolutely fantastic. You can scroll down on the rear sensor to drag notifications down similar to the pixel series. Not only that, there are THREE shortcut options for pressing the finger print sensor. That is something the overpriced pixel should have included. Not only is the fingerprint sensor great, all the specs are comparable to what you'd find on any 2016 Flagship. It has its own in house 950 Kirin processor and dual camera setup to shoot excellent photos in good light. Some of the best included features are scroll capture for screenshots (you can screen grab one continuous article). The only other phone I know that has this option is the Samsung Note 5. You can also record the screen itself. Knuckle shortcuts are great once you are able to master the technique. Overall this phone ranks up there with the other ultimate Flagship killer, the ZTE Axon 7 and in some respects is better. I am currently using a pixel xl and I often miss the features of the Honor and definitely still prefer my Axon 7 with the Action Launcher 3.

The phone itself is nice. Good weight, very fast - well, for the first year and a half. Then as the battery starts to very quickly lose charge, the CPU speed seems to suffer as well and gets slow. Other downside is that since it's literally made of glass, it's incredibly slippery to hold; don't buy this without the clear plastic case. If you get an old phone or a refurb, by now the battery is also probably crap. Also, I paid for the $120 replacement plan when I bought this phone retail unlocked for nearly $500. As part of trying to get a replacement for the terrible battery, they charged me an "$80 service fee" - so really the protection plan was $200. They have sent me a different, chinese-knock-off version of the original phone, flashed with the software from the US model. It performs even worse, the battery is terrible, and it's clearly not as durable. I tried to get a replacement for the replacement, and the 2nd replacement now has an inoperable camera. If I had known they would give me this terrible knock off for the money I invested (at this point $700), I never would have paid for the protection plan. Big waste of money. Next time I'm sticking to cheaper phones; at this point I could have bought 3 of them brand new...

Great device! Android 6.0, gorgeous screen, great power management tools. After 14 hours of work/personal use (no streaming music or videos), I still have 69% of battery. System will notify you of power-hungry apps that launched in background without your knowledge (like Facebook or Messenger). Back of phone is pretty, but very slippery. Using a flip case to also protect screen.

I used to own Samsung phone and, let me tell you, I'm not going back. This phone runs smoothly and fast and it's simply an amazing piece of art with that 15 layer gorilla glass on both sides. The camera performs really well even on a low light conditions.. Simply amazing!

This phone has everything that any flagship has nowdays. Beautiful screen, the resolution is not top of the line but you can still tell that the colors look great. I have to say the brightness is not as high as you would want it to be on a really sunny day but it is totally visible. Fingerprint reader, placed at the back of the phone which also can be programmed to do some actions by sliding of clicking on it, very nice feature, you get used to it really fast. Internal specs are great, just what you need to do anything to think about in this phone, games, apps, music, etc, everything runs smooth. Nice internal storage and can expand that through micro sd card. Has NFC and other connectiviy options. FAST CHARGING with the included charger, you get like you can get half battery in 15 minutes. This can easily compete with any 600+ dollars phone but for a smaller price.

I got this for my dad - he got his first smart phone about 2 weeks ago and instantly realized he wanted one faster and bigger. He had an old flip phone and a small 7 inch tablet that he used - he immediately saw that he could use a nice 5-5.5 inch phone to replace both in a single device that would fit in his pocket, but the one he got was too slow and a little small for what he wanted. I suggested the Huawei based on the review from Toms Hardware on the best value for a phone under $300. Its fast, has a reasonable battery, sizable screen and looks good. Note that Best Buy has a very limited supply of accessories. Also note that the EMUI modification to Android was a bit of a change that has taken him some getting used to, but we looked at that first. He uses the phone with Cricket. He noted that there is a gap in mid-priced phones available from Cricket - he didn't want an iPhone7 or a Samsung S7, and then there's a gap until you hit the low end phones. He was using a Samsung J3 (or the Cricket equivalent).

I am an iPhone user but purchased 2 of these for my parents, and so got a chance to play with it when setting it up for the 2 of them. Listed below are some of the pros and cons. -Good size. I have the 6s Plus and typing with one hand can be a bit of a challenge. The screen size of the Huawei is good for holding and viewing. -Decently fast. -Could delete some bloatware. -Looks good and sleek. Not cheap. -Camera was excellent and had quite a lot of options to play and choose from. -32GB storage is a good standard size for a normal day to day use phone. Wish apple had a 32GB instead of 64. -Back touch button is awesome. Apple should definitely copy this. Set up was easy. -Display is awesome. -Typing was not good. I felt the keys were too small, even after clicking through keyboard options and setting up borders and playing with the remaining options. -The case that came with the phone provided no support, and would never protect the sensitive back of the phone. I bought Spigen covers.

This phone is great.. I bought it for $299 on black Friday but even if it was $399 i'd probably still buy it. The camera has a lot of options and features and is crystal clear. Not the best for shooting video but it's still decent to use for that too. 32GB of storage is enough for me since I transfer from my phone to my computer pretty often. The phone has a fast processor and the fingerprint sensor works very well. EMUI is pretty interesting to use.. the menu gets sort of an iPhone feel to it but I didn't mind that. I like the glass features of the phone but it does make the phone slippery and it scratches easily, not enough to take one star off though.. I was able to find a nice case for it for about $10, same color as the phone. My conclusion.. great bang for buck phone if you don't want to spend 600-900 on a phone.

Since updating to Android Nougat and running google now launcher, this phone feels almost like a pure google phone, and runs very well. A full day of minimal use leaves me with 40% battery at 11PM, and even heavier use I am at 20%. Everything is snappy, camera is good (can be blurry at times if you take too fast a picture) and the built in huawei smart features are pretty darn good.

I really enjoy the phone. I had a Windows Lumia 1520 previously, which is hard to beat- but the Honor 8 is the next best thing. It is designed unlike any other phone and the performance can't be beat. In fact, I had my original phone replaced because my case interfered with the GPS(long story), and while I could have got any phone as a replacement- I got another Honor 8.

This phone is lightning fast and has great WIFI capabilities. It does get warm using it, but the saphire blue is super sexy, so I forgive it.

Purchased it for my dad. Easy to use, easy to program, good camera, decent storage, finger print scanner positioned better than my iPhone, fast, quick charge. Not much to complain about except for the flimsy back, which every other user review has already covered. Buy a Spigen cover to go with your new phone and call it a day.

Had never heard of this phone or brand. Needed an upgrade was hesitant to Do so through T-Mobile and their ridiculous prices even with jump feature. Have had this phone for about a month. Best phone I have owned since my galaxy 5. Took it on a trip and got some amazing pictures out of it. Love this device
