I liked the Honor 5 (or else I probably wouldn't have gotten another in the same line), but I wanted a better camera, and that's what the Honor 8 delivers in a big way. The photos are amazing for the cost of the phone. Everything else about the phone, including the looks, are excellent except at time the mic or the sound have gone out, and it requires a reboot to get them going again.

Lots of accessories, apps and things to play with apart from being used once in a while as a true phone. Great memory bank inside, that can be expanded and is very good for the nice detailed photographs can be taken. Price extremely convenient for a young man that will be looking at the next model in not a distant time frame. Being unlocked made it easier for an overseas user.

A lot of users seem to dislike it, but I love it. It's familiar. Still, there are a lot of settings that are new to me since there are limited changes you can make to iOS. Love: fast, responsive, EMUI, smart key, screen recording capability, not a lot of bloatware, long battery life (full day of heavy use). Dislike: keyboard... haven't found one I like better.

Very quality build and a lot of awesome features that even Samsung and Apple don't usually include. One of the best cameras on any phone as well. Can't beat the value of this phone. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Sprint or Verizon which is due to those carriers restricting what phones can be used. Impossible to be disappointed with this phone.

Posted .Yes! The dual lens 12 megapixel camera is one of the best camera on any phone. You are also correct in saying that the Honor 8 doesn't work with Sprint or Verizon as it is unlocked for GSM networks. We are glad you are not disappointed and we thank you for shopping Huawei! (SP)

Camera quality is amazing for a budget phone. Phone is small enough for you to hold one hand. Screen quality is great. If use with headphones/earphones, sound quality is very good, even without the use of head/ear phones, it is still good (has the a mono speaker at the bottom). Call quality is great. No drop, no static, no nothing. Clear & loud.

The phone looks great and charges fast. There are some negatives which I can say are slow camera shots. If there are system errors for apps then just delete it and re-download and it will run smoothly. Overall I do like this phone and it definitely pars up with current phones such as iPhone and Samsung.

Great looking droid phone

It is a bit slippery so make sure you get a case for it. The display is nice and crisp and switching over my iphone contacts and pictures was easier than I thought it would be. While comparing to the iphone I do wish the display could be a little crispier but for the price and memory expansion capability it is a bargain

It does take some getting used to it since it is a much newer version of android than my old phone but I like the improvements. Fingerprint sensor is very good and configurable for more that one fingerprint.

The only issue is mms, it severely degrades my pictures and videos when sent thru the phones native sms app, and Google's sms app... It's the only negitive I have on this phone.. I have owned several unlocked phones and never had this issue before...

My favorite feature is the knuckle gesture. You knock your screen and it takes a screenshot. Another great thing about this phone is that you can assign functions to the fingerprint scanner/ button. You can use it to open the camera, the flashlight, or search on Google.

Pretty fast as it has 4GB of memory to play with. Dont expect a lot of bells and whistles for this phone as it is unlocked and allows you to download the apps you find useful. No bloatware from carriers. Popped my Cricket sim card in there and it worked just fine.
