I wanted to get away from the big carriers and go the unlocked route on Cricket Wireless, and I couldn't be happier! The performance of the Mate 9 is just as strong as any 2017 flagship. The camera is stellar, and the EMUI interface is a pretty nice change of pace. Also the battery life is stellar!

Iphone is the phone that everyone would like to buy but not for people who are looking for a phone which has value for money. Though Iphone provides all fancy features and built quality, what is the point of buying it if you get the same qualities in a phone 1/3rd of its value. This is the first time I bought huawei phone recommended by my brother and so far, I am happy with the product. I would surely recommend it to anyone.

The phone has dual SIM card capabilities and if you only use 1 sim card the other slot holds up to to 256 gb memory card. The camera is amazing using the Leica dual lenses. The audio quality is equal to or better than the S8 especially in stereo surround mode. Only 2 minor down sides: 1. Not water resistant 2. This phone is about a split second slower than the S8 on running high end video games.

Name a gadget, I have it or have at least researched the trend to exhaustion before making a purchase. This phone is no different. After years using iPhone, I went with Samsung for the Android experience a few years ago. Never bought any smartphones besides iPhones and Sammys. The Samsung S7 was my last one before buying the Huawei. One word: wow! The phone looks great, works amazingly well, has great battery life. Now my battery lasts one day on a single charge. You know the now popular "portrait" style photos iPhone and Samsung have been marketing, the bokeh effect with shwrp focus on the subject and a soft focus on the background which is blurred? Well, this phone does it better than all, I suppose it is a combination between the powerful engine, sensor, and the LEICA dual lenses! You know, LEICA the image/photography company that sells their cameras and tech for an arm and a leg? People can't tell the difference between photos taken with this phone if compared to major professional DSLRs out there. They keep asking my wife and I (I got the wife one too) what "camera" we have when we post photos on social media. You will not regret getting this phone!

Love that you don't have the AT&T apps and you can load up what you need. Camera is better than any out there, including the S8. Faster than any other phone. Draw backs, no removal battery but the battery can go all day. Have to go to Amazon for accessories and if you want to customized, have to dig through the app store to find the ones for this phone but well worth it.

Phone battery last for two weeks if you use for e-mails and read news only. 20 pixels camera makes excellent pictures and 4k videos. Wi-fi can connect two devices, also phone has amazon Alexa. The only thing you missing that phone is not waterproof.

An Outstanding Phone

The battery lasts well, and charges fast. Phone feels a little lukewarm during fast charge. It runs various apps at blazing speed. Signal strength is way better than my previous iPhone 6s.

It only takes about 30-45 minutes to get to a full charge and the battery holds much longer than the iPhones that I used before. Won't change back to iPhones...
