It is a good phone. I later upgraded to something better.

Bought this P8 within 1 month (starting from July 2017), and then the touch screen did not work, cannot type in password even. I contacted the Huawei USA support and sent the phone back to Allen TX (paid by them). After several days, was told the phone cannot be repaired and will be sent as is, the reason is that it's already out of warranty. I.e. the warranty only lasts for 1 month, if I understood correctly. Before this, I used iphone 4S for 5 years, and has not problem at all. Really disappointed ... If there is no star, I will score it that way.

Who says you only Samsung and Apple make the best smartphones. After my phone broke all of a sudden a couple weeks ago, and only left with limited funds, I had to buy another one out of pocket, as I have pay as you go.' I've had Apple products that crashed like crazy and I didn't want another Samsung device with awful battery life. I had briefly heard of the Chinese brand Huawei but rarely looked into their phones, but I decided to check it out due to it was only one of two that just managed' to fit my budget and with all the specs I needed. It's met my expectations. The battery life I would describe is a notch above average, way better than my Galaxy at least, which says a lot. Pretty lightweight and sleek polished/ flat. Good call quality and pretty loud speaker. Has it's own innovative Os of Android 5.1., nothing like the Os I had on my Samsung, LG, Blu, or Sony Experia.Primarily the lock screen, scrolling, and power up/ down graphics. Something tweaked by Huawei. Looks like it mimiched the iPhone a bit, but still cool. Camera is pretty good with a good zoom and it has duo sim. Only things that bug me a bit is the main screen is moreso 4in when you include the home/menu icons and time/network etc border, so it is not quite a 5in screen like it advertised. The camera doesn't include certain settings such as "outdoors, indoor, fireworks, etc. " But it has something different called "Beauty Mode" where you can enhance lighting effects that will look similar to those mentioned and a good hdr mode. And in order to open the sim/memory card slot, you need to use one of those pins and you have to place them on these tiny little trays and slide them in/out. So if you have big hands, you will have trouble. But overall it is pretty solid phone. Don't judge the book just because it's not one of the "cool kids."....oh and it comes pre-laminated.

This is a great device. Mine came with Android 5.1 which isn't the newest Android Software however for the price and all it's features this phone is definitely worth every penny. The device is made well and pack with several security features that people usually have to download other apps to get. All the features inside the device are extremely useful. Something I would've wanted from this device is NFC but at this price it's not a big deal. I would recommend this device to someone who doesn't want to spend a lot on a high end device but don't want a cheap phone either. I own both the Motorola G 3rd Gen and this device. This device is way better then the Motorola G.

Fast and smooth. Has ability to use dual sim simultaneously so you don't miss any phone calls. Takes decent pictures and web is fast using T-Mobile...

This is a great looking phone. The screen isn't on par with the S6 or iPhone, but for the price it is better than I expected. It is great to have a phone that has expandable storage. The camera is also above what I expected it to be.

Overall I love this phone. I wish the P8 (not P8 Lite) or even P9 was available to purchase at Best Buy however the P8 Lite (ALE-L04) is one of my more favorite phones in a while. Coming from an LG G4 to this was great. At the $200 price range this phone is very responsive, takes great pictures, and best of all it has amazing battery life.

Look and feel is nice for the price. Fast processor gives a smooth feel in the apps. However, I'm disappointed with the sound quality when talking on the speaker phone. My old Sony Xperia from 3 years ago has better speakers. Fix that Huawei and you'll have a great product

Love the interface and the quality of the phone. I dropped my Note 4, needed a phone, inn the interim. Picked this phone ,love it! Smooth nice and fast. If it only had an extendable storage, would have been a killer.

This phone is exceptional, better than those costing 3 times as much. Its international capabilities are perfect for me. The screen is sharp, bright, and responsive.
