Amazing phone at an incredible price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with my purchase and the price I got it at which was $130. I notice the price has now gone up so it's not as much of a bargain, but still definitely worth getting. As the phone is refurbished it doesn't come with the official box, manual, charger plug or usb lead. You do however get a non-official replacement lead and plug. It would be helpful if Best Buy put this in the description as although I didn't mind, I know others would like to be made aware of this. The phone was immaculate - without a mark on it - and it's very nice to look at. The aluminium back is awesome and a real luxury for a phone at this price point as you usually have to make-do with a cheap, flimsy plastic back which is also an eye-sore. You'd think the phone was worth far more that it actually is. The phone is really snappy and slick, and has so-far ran apps with ease. Contrary to the reviews I read, Honor's EMUI is actually okay asides from the lack of an app drawer and the really terrible icons. Thankfully this can be easily fixed by just downloading Nova Launcher and setting the icons to Marshmallow. The fingerprint sensor sometimes has to read my finger twice, however my wife has had no issues with it so it might just be me! When it does work it's quick and responsive. The camera is good and takes some really clear and detailed snaps. It seems to struggle a bit with the detail in dark objects and in low-light, but it really isn't bad - I'm just being picky. The battery is one of the strongest points and has plenty left over at the end of the day even after heavy usage. Coming from an iPhone 4s which only lasted half a day, you could say I'm pretty glad about that. All in all, I haven't found much to fault with this phone and at the price I got it for I'm more than happy.
