My main problem was not so much with the watch itself as much as it was the OS. I didn't like having to navigate through the UI with only swipes and have the Bluetooth connection not show up as connected on my S9+. This does connect very well with Android so if you have an Android phone without brand specific connectivity options like Samsung then this is a great option for you.

It has all the same functionality as the sport except mobile connectivity (which killed the sports battery) Love the look & feel of the watch. Google pay works great. I only have 2 complaints -- the band has a cheap feel to it, fortunately it accepts standard watch bands so this was easily fixed. -- navigating the app list can be difficult due to the size of the face. I do miss the sports rotating crown.

All I wanted out of this device was to be able to make hands free phone calls and text occasionally without pulling my phone out of my pocket. It does both of these things well and also comes with a lot of fitness extras to track workout progress. The battery usually lasts all day with average usage. There are also a lot of different watch faces you can choose from.

I enjoyed each of these watches, but the Huawei Watch 2 is my favorite to date. I was looking for a watch that would keep track of my exercises and notifications but also looks good with a suit and business causal attire. While it is not near as sharp looking as the original Huawei watch, I have used it more and can wore it in more circumstances. I have had not problems with it so far and would recommend it to someone looking for a top-notch fitness tracker and smart watch.

The constant heart rate monitoring is a nice improvement and the addition of NFC is turning out to be my favorite addition. Battery life is ok but not the 2 days I've seen quoted.

A Great Smart Watch

I use it for the calendar reminder sync, alerts including texts and calls, the pedometer and stop watch. Thats about the extent of my use but I also love the different watch faces you can get from the Facer app. I'm a bit of a nerd and love the game themes. I just wish there was a way to keep the backlight and full face on all the time. You have to wake the watch up by flicking your wrist or touching the screen or button. I would sacrifice battery life at the cost of charging the watch in the early evening if I could keep the watch fully on at all times.

I also purchased the new Verizon LTE smartwatch at the same time so I could compare them. After a couple of weeks of having both watches at my disposal I found myself consistently favoring the Huawei. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked with my business casual attire even though it has the sport label. If it had LTE it would be perfect. Huawei has another winners.
