The Hunting Party backs every single word they’ve said bringing out this album, and despite Hybrid Theory’s place in our hearts, this album does not circle back to it. It brought the energy and drive from Hybrid Theory- and from those brats picking up a guitar and deciding they were going to make what they weren’t hearing- and injected it into the nerves this band has to push boundaries and keep moving forward. The album stands completely alone, and strong. Aggressive has a whole new meaning.

Overall the new Linkin Park album was excellent. The single that's played on the radio most often wasn't actually my favorite song, which was a nice surprise. This is a great buy for the Linkin Park fan. The tracks reminded me of the tracks in Minutes To Midnight, which was very nice. The album seemed to go back to their roots.

The album The Hunting Party goes back to the original more instrumental sound of music. There's no where near as much electronic sound in the music as some of their previous albums (Living Things and A Thousand Suns) This is a very good album for every Linkin Park fan that likes most of their music. This was a great buy.

Linkin Park gets back to the harsher sounds that we heard on their early albums while trying some new things with some guest artists. It's an interesting line to try and balance, but I found it an enjoyable listen. The DVD of a concert in Monterey, while not having the greatest of sound production at times, captured the pacing, caged-animal energy that Linkin Park has in concert. And the crowd shots showing people trying to film the concert with their phones was just amusing...

In this album you can hear Linkin Park is going back on their roots of their first two albums, especially the first one. I've gotten used to the new sound LP had with the last 3 albums, so to me this is them reverting back to what they were. In this one Chester has gone back to screaming frequently and in one of the songs it almost sounds punk rockish. It isn't bad at all, just surprised me, and I can hear that they are satisfying the fans they may have alienated in the past couple of years.

Love this album...they are back to their raw and in your your face, heavy hitting, unique electronic rock and roll we loved when they first came on the scene. I'm glad I bought this album it pumps me up every time I listen to it and I must have listened to it from beginning to end about 20 times and it still hasn't gotten old. I don't see myself taking it out of my car's CD player anytime soon!

Great new album by LP. This album hits you hard and heavy from the very start and doesn't let up one second. Some people may not like it because of it's heaviness, but I think it is great and well worth checking out.

Hunting party is pretty good and a step closer to LP's roots, but it's more fast-paced (punk) rock sounding in terms of rhythm. There's also a decent amount of slower intros and such which is closer to their more recent albums. Just wish they'd put out something more like Hybrid Theory and Meteora!!

I enjoy listening to each album from Linkin Park because each album has a different style and sound. The music is always unique and something you expect from the band and they always come through with great creativity! This album continues down that line of music you expect from the band and you will not be disappointed.

it's sound like old school linkin park I love it. The Hunting Party packs a punch that has not been felt in a very long time with it's raw sounding "garage-band-basement" guitar riffs, refreshing and catchy lyrics and head smashing drums which brings back memories of the late 90's.

The Hunting Party is a really good album. Great new songs from Linkin Park. The DVD that accompanies the CD is spectacular. The song selection they chose to film is impressive. I just felt it was too short. I would highly recommend this CD/DVD package to any all Linkin Park fans.

Linkin Park and I had a trial separation for a while thanks to the garbage called A Thousand Suns, but they brought me back with Living Things and now The Hunting Party is even better!!! It's not Hybrid Theory or Meteora but it's the best thing since then.

The Hunting Party isn't Linkin Park's best effort, in my opinion. However, I always enjoy new music from this band and this album is no exception. The Hunting Party is a departure from some of their earlier work, yet there are subtle familiar elements.

This has to be in my top list if albums to have ever come out. People say linkin park lost it, but they obviously haven't. More reminiscent of their first 2 albums, you can rest assured that it's going to be good

Awesome cd. Haven't listened to this band in awhile, and this album was definitely worth the $$ haha. Also it was at a Great Price!, only at Best Buy!!

overall, and for the true fan, this is a very good album. it may perhaps sound a bit less cohesive than other albums, but this in fact allows for more experimentation. good use of electronics and different sounds effects.

Linkin Park's CD is just wonderful. They just keep getting better and better as the years go by. This set came with a free DVD of the band live in concert at Monterrey, CA. Great deal!

I believe this is the most I've ever heard them curse on an album. I understand that they put news topics in their songs, which tells me they're pretty angry with the world. Not sure how I feel about this album.

Linkin Park never seems to dissapointed in making the kind of music that they wann make! More on the rock side of things with this one. Nice to seem them get back to their roots
