Sure, everyone is going to wireless, but I just dont trust it. I keep every device in my house with a wire if I can. It's just me. If you dont want to, then dont do it. But as for me and my house, it's CAT-6 all the way. This product is great and works..

The HyperDrive hub isn't quite that elaborate, but that's OK. It does what I need it to: connects my Chromebook to two external monitors and allows for charging. The USB 2.0 ports are waste of space so far. Who knows? I might use them at some point. But this hub was a good value whether I do or not.

Great all in one for video conferencing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted an extra hdmi port and an Ethernet port since my laptop doesn't have them. With this hub I can grab my laptop and go after pulling just power and a single usb-c instead of the full laundry list of peripherals I use for video conferencing => an external camera, speakerphone, external monitor and wired network connection. This works well and so far, doesn't get too hot.
