Works perfectly, it does all it says. But it does get a little hot. It did lock up on me once. unplugged it and reinstalled it then worked fine

It works great with the macbook Pro. When it's connected to the tv and charger - it tends to get too warm. But it looks sleeks and does the job!

This dock works great with my 2021 13" MacBook Pro. It fits securely to the side. The only drawback in my opinion is that the MacBook can't be closed without contacting the small lip that sits right on top when the dock is attached.

This is a great doc for the new MacBook. Easy to use and adds expansion points I needed. My main gripe is you can't close the lid with it attached. So you trade stability with the ports for needing to remove it every time you close the computer. Not gonna lie, had some buyers remorse with it as there are ones that do the same thing on that one website that shares a name with a rainforest, but it is great if you need it on the day of and is better than the ones at the Apple Store.

Purchased for use with my MacBook Air, due to needing more connection options. It’s sleek and very easy to use with constant usb use. Connecting all of my external products is easy and this keeps my MacBook Air looking sleek with no wires.

Bought this to be able to transfer files to thumb drives on my new MacBook Air 2. Works flawlessly and even fits with a case on my MacBook!

Love this hub. I had another which to my dismay required me to remove a case I had bought for my 2019 16 inch mbp. This one can be used with the case on or off. Very convenient.

I've had this for quite a while now and it is well worth the investment. Between being able to connect with multiple USB ports and an HDMI (which I do often), this little gadget is almost a necessity! I was fortunate enough to get this when it was on sale, so it made it a better value for me. It does drain the battery noticeably faster if it's connected than when it's not, so be mindful of that...but that is to be expected. All in all, a real necessary piece for the Macs!

Every once in a while it works lose, and then my computer and accessories don't charge. Otherwise it's awesome!

I like idea behind this hub, especially since the new MacBook Pros went to totally using USB C inputs. It's not a cheap way to go but very usable. I bought it because of the metal piece/spacer that fits between the hub and the computer. Only problem is, it doesn't work all the time with the spacer in place and without it, there's a gap between the hub and computer. Without the spacer, the hub connects every time and works well. I just don't like the gap.

I bought as a refurbished item, and it works great. It has two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports one SD port and one Micro SD port. It doesn’t heat up like others that get super hot. It’s the same color as the MacBook Air finish has. You can’t close your MacBook Air with this item while your using it, you’ll need to remove it before you can close your MacBook Air. I’m happy with this purchase. It is a bit expensive but since it was refurbished I paid about half the original price.

Worked very good with my Mac Book Pro. All the ports worked. The issue I had with it is that I could not close the laptop screen 100% because the magnetic clip kept it from closing all the way, and if I remove the magnetic clip - the docks base was not flush with the laptop and was only being supported by the USB-C connector ( made me feel like it was going to break ). Those were my only issues with it, everything else worked great.

Great addition. Wish apple had at least 1 usb but this makes it work. Unfortunately, can’t close the screen all the way when this is plugged in, but not a deal breaker because it is good quality.

This device is great for a Mac when you wanna use hdmi and other ports but it does go in kinda hard

I bought this for my new laptop, which oddly doesn't have a single usb or hdmi port (MacBook Pro). The connection this station creates is SO fragile that ANY slight bump to the laptop disrupts all devices (a 2nd monitor takes the majority of the abuse). The docking station is visibly wobbly with the slightest touch or movement of the laptop. (And, yes, it's plugged in all the way) I'll give it an extra star because it DOES allow me to have a mouse, keyboard, and second monitor, but minus 2 stars because now I can't touch the laptop without risking damage. (perceived damage-- I have no idea what happens inside the laptop every time the docking station gets bumped. And by "bumped" I mean if I touch it gently with a fingertip, turn the laptop to a different angle, or even type on the laptop’s keyboard.) Good thing I can plug in a second keyboard?
