I was astonished by how sturdy this hoverboard felt! I bought it in a whim and wasnt sure quite what to expect but i am impressed at how much care and thought went into designing this! I love how pretty the lights are and the speed at which i can travel! I will say i have had difficulty with getting the board to connect with the app, but honestly you dont really need the app to use the product so im not too upset. The speakers are not as good as my Jbls but is you are zipping down the sidewalk do you really care too much about sound quality? Nah, what you care about is volume! And the speakers get pretty loud :)

Is it loud? Yes. Is it flashy? Yes. Do I love it? Yes. Added this to have around in the game room and so far a hit. Wheels won’t scratch hardwood floors, and it works well on carpet. Self balancing mode and the speed govenor are accessible in the app via bluetooth pairing. I’d suggest setting up the speed govenor. It can go fast, especially for indoors. Setup is easy. No assembly required. Simply charge and ride. 10/10

I recently got this hoverboard, and it’s definitely a fun gadget to ride around on! The LED lights are fun, but the speaker was hard to use & the app setup was challenging. I did find it a little tricky to get on at first. The board tends to move forward as you try to step on, so it takes some practice to balance correctly before taking off. Once you're on and balanced, though, it’s smooth and fun. If you're new to hoverboards, it might take a bit of trial and error, but it’s fun once you get the hang of it. Speeding up and slowing down took a bit of practice to figure out, but steering was very easy right away. Overall, its a fun, flashy ride with pretty good performance for the price, though it could be a little more beginner-friendly to get on and get going.

I really wanted to love this hoverboard - the lighting on it is flashy, the build quality is solid, and once you get going it's pretty easy and fun to ride around on. Unfortunately, I encountered several challenges while setting it up, trying to use the app that is required to change any settings, and with some features not meeting expectations for the price point. The setup process is not at all self-evident and even after reading the provided manual I still had challenges trying to connect the board to my phone via bluetooth and with trying the calibrate it (which I had to do immediately out of the box, the board was jerky and jittery to ride otherwise). The app has a glowing 1 star rating in the iOS App Store that is entirely deserved - my personal favorite part of the app that is emblematic of the overall jankiness is the proud misspelling of "Settiing" on the main landing screen. The app is entirely unusable and even after ostensibly being connected to the board won't change any of the settings, lighting, or control of the board as far as I can tell. The app also asks for a lot of permissions that seem entirely unnecessary for an app that's supposed to just control a hoverboard - you don't need to grant it, but why would this app even ask for my location data? Finally, I was pretty disappointed with the built-in speaker, it feels like it would have been a better choice to leave it out entirely. There's only a single speaker - so no stereo sound - and the speaker itself is very weak and sounds awful. I definitely will not be using the speaker feature (or the app) at all going forward. The board is still fun to ride and does function well as just a hoverboard, but all the extra features are poorly implemented. It's a fun toy and I'm sure the less discerning will enjoy it quite a bit, but don't expect polish in anything beyond the basics for a hoverboard.

I had to buy a hoverboard which held more weight since my granddaughter is growing so quickly. It is harder to find on which supports over 150 or 175lbs. This works great when she's on it and she love the Bluetooth on it. She loves the lights, and it is quiet so she can ride it in the house.

This hoverboard only worked for a few months. Now it will not power on any more but the charger it shows that is fully charged. I am out of the warranty because it only comes with 6 months and now I have a paper weight and a very upset daughter!!! Don’t waste your money on it!!!

This seemed like a nice device for the 3 months that it worked. I say 3 months when in reality it was probably charged a total of four times and ridden 6 or 7 times. After the most recent charge, the battery lasted like usual but would not power up after charging again. I called tech support, and they were very quick to answer my questions and tell me someone from “headquarters” would be reaching out immediately, so watch my phone for the call. That was a few weeks ago. Now when I email tech support, they are no longer responding, and I just assume at this point that my money was wasted and it won’t be replaced. I can handle something breaking, but I don’t have patience for avoiding me when trying to get it fixed. Unless something miraculous happens on the customer service front, I’m going to have to say for now to avoid this device and this toy brand.

I was very impressed with the board. The lights look so nice at night. The bluetooth radio is also dope. The charging takes to long but other than that I recommend the hoover board. For young adults or teens.

Not worth the money, and good luck getting a response from the manufacturer. Purchased for my daughter at Xmas time and used about 5 times in the last 6 months, and now this will not even turn on. Suspect a bad battery. Contacted the manufacturer, cannot even get any kind of response.

This thing is pure trash. It broke after 24 hours of use and now Best buy wont allow me to get a refund. This is such a horrible product and serivce that this very well could be the last thing I ever buy from BestBuy. Disappointed is a complete understatement.

The product is not worth the money. It broke 7 months after purchase, even though it was rarely used. The warranty lasts only 6 months. Customer support is poor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT.

My 10 year old son said 9.3 out of 10, so he likes it a lot. This is his first hoverboard. The lights and speaker are nice. The app is awful with respect to connecting via Bluetooth, but works with both iPhone and Android phones, you have to follow the manual exactly and it requires multiple retries to work.
