The Hyperdimension Neptunia series is made to parody the game industry and has plenty of anime tropes to enjoy.
The games themselves are not made to be taken seriously, but the gameplay in them have improved immensely over the years. Noire is one of my favorite characters in the series which made it really easy for me to pick up this game and enjoy playing right away.
The previous games in the series have been pulled down by the large amount of paid dlc content included and this game is no exception. There are DLC paid characters and items, but the game can be enjoyed without paying for anything.

In all honesty I can really on recommend this game to fans of the series. As a RTS the game is pretty much standard and has nothing that really makes the gamer go, wow this game is the best thing, but in all honesty who plays this game for just the gameplay :P. That aside it does have a different feel to than the main series games, mainly because you the player sort of take an active role, and Noire is kind of too tsundere even by her standards. For anyone looking to maybe get in the series I would recommend the Rebirth games first and see if the dialogue is something you enjoy.

It's an interesting side story in the Neptunia universe with a different style of gameplay that's a lot of fun if you like SRPGs.

Unlike the other Neptunia games, this is a turn base strategy rpg. While this is enjoyable, there's not much need for strategy. The difficulty is not that hard, except for a few battles but you can easily level up if needed. Item crafting can be a grind since you need to beat the same level multiple times to get the ingredients. Overall decent game in the line of Neptunia games.

It's not terrible, but it doesn't really impress. Battles are pretty simple. One mechanic that's interesting is the "Lily System" where you can team the girls up and get all super cute and tough on your foes. Unfortunately, this kinda sucks because you have to bunch the characters together to take advantage of this, and when it's not your turn, it give your opponent the chance to potentially wipe out your team.
Anime-ish shenanigans abound are a given. You're also kinda playing as a lame self insert nameless character, but it's not TOO intrusive. This character actually doesn't do anything for the actual battles, it's all VN junk where he's hitting on Noire and vice versa like dweebs. Enjoy your wish fulfillment.

Good tactical rpg. Fun story filled with humor. Filled with references like the other games in the series.

This is a good game in the Hyperdimension series - the story is light-hearted and fun, and certainly fan servicey. Strategy is decent, but could use a bit more challenge.
