I always looked at HyperIce as one of the first premium massage gun companies on the market and they have made some nice products! But of course other massage guns have come out with some nice looks and features since then to challenge HyperIce. However, with the release of their new Hypervolt 3 Pro I am firmly in the camp this is the best of the best! PROS: - As soon as I opened this everything about it screamed premium. The Carrying case is really nice by being light but durable. Seeing the massage gun itself I was very impressed. It has a great elegant look to and has some weight to it even though seeming much smaller than their past versions. - I absolutely love the new “dial” design of the gun as well. You turn it on and twist the dial to get different speeds which is really user friendly as well as giving a wide range of speed options right from the dial. - Another thing I was really impressed by was the noise, this thing is very quiet!! I compared it to my old massage gun and its lightyears quieter and just impressive with how powerful it can get. Even though this is quiet, it does not hold back on power. It can pack a lot of “massage” power to your body and was great to see. - I also like how the main attachment head covers more area so that it can disperse its massage on a bigger area at once rather than being really specific. However, of course, that is remedied by the variety of attachments it has so it can be more specific if needed or softer if needed too. - The heated head attachment is also one I have found really useful as a way to loosen and ease my muscle aches and I like how that attachment comes standard and is not an add on. - The battery lasts a long time on a single charge and is very clear when I need to charge it! CONS: - I would have liked a little more ergonomics in the handle to reach hard places on your own. - Also it’s 2026, how is this not charged by USB C?! BOTTOM LINE: - HyperIce continues to show why they are a premiere brand in this home health space by producing its best massage gun yet with its Hypervolt 3 Pro. It’s is its best looking product yet, packs a lot of power while being the quietest massage gun I’ve used, and comes with a lot of attachments to help get whatever ache you need. I really love the new dial approach to quickly change the speeds and its easy to power own and off quickly too. This is a fantastic massage gun from HyperIce that I think you will start seeing a lot in homes, personal trainers, chiropractors, and wellness people all around!

I’ve been athletically inclined from a very young age. Even now, as a middle aged man, I still exercise six days a week religiously, but as the body ages, pain is easy to come by. I use percussion massagers to remedy my body pains and maintain my body. The Hypervolt Pro 3 from HyperIce is my newest percussion massager. So far, it has been an impressive performer. It comes in a sturdy carrying case with a premium feel. There are 5 massage attachments that cover all muscle groups and bony areas. My two favorites are the cushion attachment for the bony areas, and the heated head that actually heats up. The Hypervolt 3 Pro has a professional grade feel once you hold it. It’s solidly built with a simple modern design, and has a bit of a weight that exudes quality. The charging port is a DC barrel jack type to be used with the included charger. There are no usb-c options. A brief note about the charger, it comes with three additional types of prong plates compatible with plugs in Europe, the UK and Australia, ideal for the traveler. Using the Hypervolt 3 Pro has been a great experience. It’s simple to use. At the back sits the power button in the middle of a digital 6-speed dial. Underneath the power button, are three LED lights that serve as a pressure indicator which proved to be precise and so useful. I own other premium percussion massagers from other competitors, and the Hypervolt 3 Pro distinguishes itself with how quiet it is. I was pleasantly surprised that even at the maximum speed I could comfortably listen to a podcast or watch TV without the need to increase the volume. I usually do between 10 to 15-minute sessions twice a day, 6 days a week and the battery always has plenty of juice left after a week. The 5 attachments are easy to remove and replace and stay solidly attached. The only criticism came from my wife who found the weight to become noticeable during her extended massage sessions, and her smaller hands would tire out after holding the thick handle for a long period of time. As for me, the Hypervolt 3 Pro has become my favorite percussion massager. It is built for performance, and it does it all quietly and effectively. It worked at relieving my pains and at preventing others. You can take it everywhere with the carrying case, and come with every attachment you’ll ever need, and it will connect anywhere you travel. If you take your physical maintenance seriously, this is the precision instrument for you.

[PROS] Robust App: The Hyperice App takes the guess work out of the what, where, how, and why when using this product. Its a great tool for people of all levels of experience. The app helps me to determine what to target, the tools to use, or how to utilize the Hypervolt 3 Pro. I was able to select a set of routines with demonstrations and allow the app to automatically control the device with manual operation also available at my disposal. Complete Package: The build quality is sturdy, and feels excellent in the hands. The six intensity settings has allowed me to figure out the right speed for the various recovery scenarios that I've encountered. With the five attachments, I've been able to target problem areas with accessories that adequately contour and provide the appropriate amount of firmness. Finally, all of this is packaged in a convenient carrying case that easily fits in my bag due to its square shape and soft padding. Sufficient Battery: I don't use my Hypervolt 3 Pro everyday, but battery life has been great even on standby. The indicator still lights up green to show a healthy battery percentage after a few weeks of ownership. I usually max out about 12-13 minutes per use so it'll take me a while to reach 4 hours of usage in order to determine the veracity of the battery claim. [CONS] Connectivity Hiccup/App Opportunity: The only issue I encountered were slight, intermittent loss of connection to the Hypervolt. The app disconnected from the device a few times while I paused to review the instructions. This also leads to me to a wishlist item. I paused the app because the instructions/demonstrations are only accessible in midsession. I wish there was a preview that can be fully watched before activating a session instead of trying to learn certain routines on the fly. [CONCLUSION] This Hypervolt is undoubtedly a premium, professional product. You have all of the attachments, abilities, and app features that you could ever want in a portable recovery product. It's a definite winner in my book, and I would highly recommend it.

I’ve been using this product for a while now and it has helped tremendously with muscle recovery. I’ve been able to use it on key areas of my legs and shoulders after a workout to help ease muscle pain. What I’m really impressed on is how long the battery has lasted. I literally charge it once or twice a week and it lasts for several uses. The app has just released with this particular model, so I really plan to use it when it’s updated and synced well. What I do like is the promise like other models that show the intensity level of force. It’ll be really nice to track and monitor that. It offers deep muscle relief helping my body recover faster from jogging. The cool thing is you don’t have to use it just for muscle relief from working out. I have a desk job brought this to work. It was really nice using this on my legs after sitting at my desk for 3 hours. Instant relief! It’s one of the best massage guns on my calfs. Seriously feels good under a low or medium setting. The full power is a little intense, but still manageable. They advertise you can use this for: muscle recovery, soreness, improve flexibility, stress reduction, optimize workouts and injury prevention. So far I’ve used this for recovery and muscle soreness. I really want to YouTube tips about using it for stress relief! Pros: Hot or cool feature Multiple head attachments Long charge Quick to charge App Speed control Travel case Multiple head attachments Cons: A bit heavy when using Overall: Ok, so I know it’s about 2 lbs, but it felt a little heavy in my hand when it was powered on. It’s not a deal breaker, but I was surprised. It’s a tad expensive, but I can definitely say it’s one of the better percussion recovery guns.

The Hypervolt 3 Pro is the latest professional grade massage gun by Hyperice, delivering a powerful dynamic range of percussive therapy to warm up, recover, or even release tension. The Hypervolt 3 Pro has a black rubberized and feels well balanced thanks to the ergonomic pill shaped handle, making it easy to manipulate and position. With a familiar dial control, the Hypervolt 3 has six speed adjustments ranging from 1500 - 2500 RPM with realtime feedback via the integrated pressure sensor and indicator. The Pro provides a carrying case and 5 interchangeable heads, including the rechargeable heated head which feels great on sore areas. Having a slim build, I tend to grab the cushioned attachment which is more forgiving around boney areas. The Hypervolt 3 is rechargeable using the included 12V DC adapter, which you won’t use often thanks to the 4 hours of runtime. I don’t usually like to rely on apps to use a product and fortunately the Hypervolt 3 is a fantastic standalone massage gun providing intuitive controls and is well designed. However, I was pleasantly surprised how useful the app integration is with Hyperice helped me not only use the device properly but automatically starting and stopping the gun while adjusting the intensity on the fly. The guided approach of the app allowed me to appreciate the range of therapy the gun can provide with broad assortment of routines such as recovery, relief and warm up, to specific areas like lower body or calves. Even though I do not consider myself an athlete, I have been able to use the Hypervolt 3 Pro to relieve sore or tense muscles and even relax after a long day thanks to the superior design and tight app integration; making this a top choice among the many massage guns on the market.

I’ve tried Hyperice percussion massagers before with the older Hypervolt Bluetooth. It was an excellent percussion massager at the time but unfortunately the battery died within 6 months. I was so mad, I just recycled the unit without requesting a warranty replacement. I decided not to replace it until a worthy model came on the market and with this new Hypervolt 3 Pro, I decided to give Hyperice a second chance. From my initial experience so far, I’m so glad I did. Fingers crossed the battery holds up this time. The unboxing presented me with a very nice black storage case, the actual soft-touch massage gun, 5 varied head attachments ( flat, cushion, fork, wedge and even the rechargeable heated flat head and its USB A to USB C charging cable!!!), plug-in AC charging cable along with 3 additional adapter heads for regions outside the US, and lastly, the instructions. I’m very impressed with this complete set as it offers everything I need to use, store or even travel with. This time around, Hyperice modified the shape of the gun with an angled handle versus their older perpendicular handle design. I love that they did this, as it seems easier and more comfortable to hold. The balance seems good as well. The unit is made of a soft-touch, almost rubberized material which seems to be more grippy than before. The only main gripe I have with the Hypervolt 3 Pro is that it’s quite heavy. The weight may be comparable to other brands but I had to shift hands once in a while during longer sessions. That’s probably an issue with all handheld massagers with this high level of power. Speaking of power, it’s got plenty. To use, you just press the power button, and dial up to 6 speeds. I love the dial which wasn’t present on my older Hypervolt unit. There’s a small set of 3 LEDs that show force feedback, a Bluetooth connection LED and a light ring around the bottom of the handle that shows battery life. One suggestion I’d make to Hyperice is to switch the handle ring light to reflect the pressure sensitivity and switch battery life to the smaller 3 LED location currently used for pressure sensitivity feedback. I’d rather easily see the pressure feedback while using the gun than the amount of battery life. This is how my smart toothbrush works and it makes it obvious if I’m brushing too hard. I tried all the power levels and found my”sweet spot” at around speed 4. I liked the varied heads and all offer a slightly different focus. The attachable heads appear the have been redesigned from my older unit’s heads. They’re still very effective and I particularly loved the rechargeable heated flat head. It’s easy to use and offers 3 levels of heating temperatures (109F, 115F, 120F). It is AMAZING! Keep in mind that it needs to be turned on/off separately from the gun, as well as separately charged via the USB C cable. The Hypervolt 3 Pro can be connected to the Hyperice app which allows for further features. Once the gun has been paired to the app ( it’s a touch confusing/complicated to do so) you can select from a multitude of preset massage sessions that control the gun. Each session option gives an overview of what it about to do and why, plus it shows which attachment head to use. The Hypervolt 3 Pro worked wonders on several areas where I’ve had reoccurring aches and pains as well as warming up and loosening tight muscles before and after many hours of pickleball. Other than the weight of the unit, I’m extremely impressed with its performance. Hyperice did a great job at updating their premier massage gun and provided a very useful and thoughtful case to keep it all safe and sound. I’m very glad I gave Hyperice a second try and hopefully there will be no battery issues this time around. I highly recommend this Hypervolt 3 Pro!

As a 50+ year old who still enjoys lifting weights this device has been a real game changer. I use it every day as it really helps to get rid of those knots in the neck and shoulders post-workout. Powerful motor, quiet and seemingly very well built. Easy to use and sync to your phone as well. Highly recommended.

Solid upgraded feel. Still MISSING USB-C! Which is very standard nowadays. Wish there were another 1-2 good attachments. Old attachments are no longer compatible.
