Absolutely great honestly! Only thing is the rgb options are not to fancy but other than this it’s amazing!

This is a quality piece at a decent price. You can tell the key cap material is a step above average keyboards. The layout takes getting used to but that comes with the form factor irrespective of this model itself.

I already reviewed the 65% version which I also own and this is essentially the same thing but in a smaller 60% layout. I gave the 65% to my brother and got this and since my experience was so good with the 65 this was an easy choice.
Going to paste some of the points I made in that review -
Its an amazing value and legitimately doesn't have any cons for me (if you want a different layout there's different sizes as well like the 65, Core, and Elite 2.
All pros:
Amazing value at $99 (or on sale)
Heavy and sturdy feeling given it's size
Great stock double shot PBT keycaps
Some of the smoothest feeling red switches
Easily accessible FN rows
Nice bonus keycaps
Removable USB-C cable which is also nicely positioned and out the way
RGB shines nice
Good levels of angle adjustment on the feet
Seriously get this. You will be so happy with it.

I had a huntsman mini with red switches but those felt mush and cheap and after a month of use my spacebar broke so I needed some sturdy and premium so I researched and found this kb which has the smoothest red switches I’ve ever felt on a gaming keyboard and it is PREMIUM the whole case is aluminum and it sounds thocky stock. This is the best 60% keyboard you can buy for 110$

My Ducky One 2 mini with silver switches that I used for FPS games started acting up after about a year, so I looked for a quick replacement. I was able to pick this board up for $60, and I'm definitely impressed with what you get. Solid aluminum frame, so the board has good weight to it and absolutely no case ping. The hyper x reds switches feel better to me then cherry and gateron reds that I've used in the past, and after coming from silver switches these feel more manageable and I'm having less typos and misclicks. The stabilizers are actually decent as well, and remind me a bit of Ducky's. Has PBT keycaps that are slightly textured, and the included spacebar adds a nice look. Maybe my one negative with the board itself is the USB C port is tight, and I couldn't use my other USB C cable that I already had. Overall, I think this is maybe one of best of boards you can get from one of the big gaming brands, and if you can get it on sale it's an easy recommendation.

Absolutely thrilled with the HyperX Alloy Origins 60% Keyboard! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I've been using this keyboard for a few weeks now, and it's truly exceeded all my expectations. The compact 60% layout is a game-changer, freeing up desk space while maintaining all the essential keys I need. The build quality is top-notch—solid, durable, and the RGB backlighting is stunningly vibrant.
The HyperX switches offer a perfect blend of responsiveness and tactile feedback. Whether I'm gaming or typing up reports, the experience is smooth and satisfying. Customization is a breeze with the HyperX NGenuity software, allowing me to tailor the lighting and key functions to suit my preferences perfectly.
Another standout feature is the detachable USB-C cable, which makes it incredibly convenient for transport and setup. Overall, the HyperX Alloy Origins 60% Keyboard is a fantastic investment for both gamers and professionals alike. It delivers on every front—performance, aesthetics, and functionality. Highly recommended!

Very solid keyboard, both in performance and mass... this thing is HEAVY for its size. I'm not usually an RGB guy, but the effects and the brightness of the LEDs have really impressed me. The USB C cable is braided and should be long enough for most PC setups. It is taking some time to get used to the arrow key setup. I hadn't realized how much I actually used the arrow keys until I purchased this keyboard. The switches have a good amount of actuation force so you won't be accidentally hitting keys when resting your fingers. Overall I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a 60% red switch keyboard.

Really good quality board. The input time for how fast the buttons actually input their function on your computer is faster then my previous keyboard and is a very noticeable difference. Definitely very good keyboard for gaming. The sound of the keys is very nice actually, I love the click. The size of it is small which takes up less room on my XL mouse pad and gives more room to move my mouse. It also comes with a key cap puller and special keys as well. Overall really good product for gaming.

HyperX - Alloy Origins 60 is a very nice computer keyboard. I like the multiple colored lights going across in a slow pulsating rhythm. I like it's compact size on my desktop which has limited space. The "Function" key to use the arrows is still taking some getting used to. I do kind of miss having dedicated arrow keys, but if you REALLY need a compact size keyboard that's the only way it's possible.

This board is solid and highly recommended mainstream 60 keyboard. HyperX is best in its class in terms of price and build quality. I bought both the razer huntsman mini and this keyboard and I ended up choosing the hyperx alloy 60. RGB brightness and light implementation is better than Razer for what it’s worth. The aluminum frame, double shot PBT key caps, red linear switches make this a solid buy. Without question, I would take the hyperx over the huntsman mini and Corsair k65. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
