Very nice a small keyboard. Love the RGB settings as well as the mechanical aspect. It is a bit difficult to use functions but for its smaller size, I'd say it's okay. The price is a bit high.

Great pre-built keyboard, 65% layout so you still get arrow keys but doesn’t take up as much space as full-sized boards. Great with gaming and general use!

Best feeling tactile switches, software needs help

The switches that come on this KB are absolutely amazing, they also sound great. Not too loud, slightly louder than the red linear that come as an option. Still nice and quiet that, if set up correctly, you won’t hear any clicks or clacks in stream or in discord chat. Linear or Aqua are great, but if you want a perfect in between for work/typing and gaming. I would suggest the aqua! Board size overall is what you’d expect of a 65% nice layout and footprint. Build quality is equally as great, being nice and heavy and not cheaply made. Can be easily transported. I really like the feel of the key caps on this as well compared to the 60% alloy origins they have a slight texture to them so they’re not completely smoothed over like the 60% variant has. However, the software that comes with the Hyperx line. Ngenuity which is downloaded and used in Windows itself and from the Microsoft store. The keyboard itself can be fully programmed and that’s amazing, however software still could use some drastic improvements. Overall I compare everything to how fluid Logitechs software is with their automatic profile switching and nothing compares to it. Logitech is literally seamless in this regard to software, no company has easier to use software and quicker profile switching. Unless Logitech has a patent on their automatic desktop mode, every company needs to step it up. It’s literally automatic. It’s not a deal breaker because the software is still usable, and user friendly but quality of life goes down when the automatic switching doesn’t work seamlessly every time. I also don’t have a single care in the world for RGB but there’s quite a good selection of options. I just stick to static modes so I know when the profile has been switched automatically and correctly. 9/10 overall for a 65% keyboard, quality switches as well as build quality, nice and quiet with above average sound and stabs for a commercial keyboard, software is good with a fully customizable layout and options for RGB if that’s what you enjoy, however software profile switching and onboard profiles need a big improvement as profile switching isn’t fluid and seamless (specifically going back and forth from Desktop to in-game). Can easily distinguish where the FN commands are because they’re printed on the front of the key caps. Perfect compact size for travel or desk use. Would recommend this keyboard to anyone new into the PC space or those looking for a smaller Keyboard.

I recently purchased the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 Compact Wired Mechanical Keyboard with Aqua Tactile Switches, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations on multiple fronts. From its remarkable performance to its stunning design, this keyboard has quickly become a favorite addition to my gaming setup. First and foremost, the performance of the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 is outstanding. The Aqua Tactile switches provide a satisfying tactile feedback with just the right amount of actuation force. Whether I'm engaging in intense gaming sessions or typing up lengthy documents, the keyboard's responsiveness and accuracy are truly impressive. The build quality of this keyboard is exceptional. The aircraft-grade aluminum frame not only adds durability but also gives it a premium and sleek appearance. The keycaps are made of double-shot PBT material, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear and tear. I appreciate the detachable USB-C cable, which not only provides a stable connection but also makes it easy to replace or upgrade if needed. One of the standout features of the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 is its vibrant RGB lighting. With customizable per-key RGB lighting effects and dynamic lighting patterns, the keyboard allows for endless personalization options. The HyperX NGENUITY software makes it effortless to customize the lighting effects, macros, and profiles, further enhancing the overall gaming experience. The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 also boasts a thoughtful and functional design. It features a compact layout without sacrificing essential keys, and the inclusion of media controls and a volume wheel adds convenience during gameplay and multimedia tasks. The keyboard's detachable braided USB-C cable ensures a clutter-free setup, and the adjustable feet allow for comfortable typing angles. In conclusion, the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 Compact Wired Mechanical Keyboard with Aqua Tactile Switches is a phenomenal choice for gamers and typists alike. Its outstanding performance, premium build quality, stunning RGB lighting, and user-friendly design make it a top-notch keyboard that delivers on every level. I wholeheartedly recommend this keyboard to anyone seeking a high-quality and feature-rich gaming keyboard that is built to last.

First impression, it is heavy. Really, I mean really solidly built. I got the tactile switch, the feeling of key pressing is amazing. My research told me HyperX aqua is largely the same as cherry brown, but my fingers felt a major upgrade from my old cherry brown corsair k70. The quality feeling also comes from the PBT key caps. The key strokes produced really solid and amusing sound. I don't care much about RGB, but far as I see, it looks gorgeous. Looks sleek, saved a lot of space on my desk. I am happy about the purchase. I also own a hyperx cloud headset, which I have used for ~5 years and it still rocks. HyperX produces some really high quality gears. Only thing I don't like is their logo, but that I can live with.

I started playing Arma Reforger and the game is not very controller friendly. So i bought this. First thing I noticed was how beefy it is. Not flimsy at all! The size is perfect for a small desk infront of a monitor. Keys are very responsive too.

I needed a smaller gaming keyboard as my computer gaming space became limited. This fit the bill, perfectly. Despite the limited number of keys, it is very capable in achieving the needs I have for my mostly casual gaming style. The RGB lighting is also fully customizable for each key. However, the lighting software is a little clunky, and it cannot seem to save to the three profiles it supposedly has onboard. Switching between profiles seems to only have the last one I uploaded. However, I really only need the one layout, so it is not as much of a bother to me. In summary, if you want a compact, tactile, fully RGB mechanical gaming keyboard, this is a great choice!

If you wanted the small size of a 60% but missed your arrow keys, this keyboard is right. It's built well, has a sturdy frame, and the key presses feel so nice with the Aqua switches. The bump is noticeable but it is super smooth. Only thing I can tell is that the stabilizers are a bit 'meh' but, if you are feeling adventurous, you can grab a syringe, fill it up with lube, and then gently squirt a bit to hopefully help lessen the rattle. Other than that though, no modification needed. A stock keyboard that is essentially perfect out of the box.
