HyperX Alloy Origins 60 If you’re looking for a compact mechanical keyboard that delivers top-tier performance without taking up a ton of desk space, the HyperX Alloy Origins 60 is easily one of the best options out there. Build Quality: This keyboard feels premium right out of the box. The aluminum body is solid and durable, giving it a sturdy weight without being bulky. The double-shot PBT keycaps feel great to the touch and show no signs of fading or wear, even after extended use. Design & Size: As a 60% keyboard, it trims down the size by removing the function row, arrow keys, and numpad. While this may take a little time to get used to, the layout is smart and functional. It frees up a ton of desk space, especially helpful for gamers who need extra room for mouse movement or for those working in tight setups. Performance: Typing and gaming on the HyperX Red linear switches is a dream. They’re smooth, quiet, and extremely responsive—perfect for both fast-paced gaming and daily typing. With N-key rollover and anti-ghosting, every keystroke is accurate, even during intense gaming sessions. RGB Lighting & Software: The RGB backlighting is bright, vivid, and fully customizable. The lighting effects look clean and sharp, especially with the shine-through keycaps. Using HyperX NGENUITY software, you can create macros, adjust lighting profiles, and remap keys. The software is decent—could use some polishing—but it gets the job done without being overly complicated. Final Thoughts: The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 offers a great balance of compact design, excellent performance, and durable build quality. Whether you’re a gamer, a minimalist enthusiast, or just want a clean and responsive keyboard, this one is a fantastic choice. Pros: • Excellent build quality • Smooth, responsive HyperX Red switches • Compact and space-saving • Vivid RGB with customization options • Great value for the price Cons: • No dedicated arrow keys (common for 60% layout) • Software could be improved Rating: 9.5/10

Great gaming keyboard with nice feeling keys. I bought a razor keyboard before this and the mechanical keys were too laud. This hyperX is the perfect combination of smooth, quiet, and performance. The RBG lighting is also really nice with many different settings.

My first mechanical keyboard and I am beyond happy with it. I purchased the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 with red linear switches. I visited my local Best Buy store nearby thinking I would purchase a different brand mechanical keyboard after doing a lot of research online and viewing many YouTube reviews for what are considered the best, both wired and wireless. I got to try the one I thought I wanted to buy and many others that were out on display. When I saw this HyperX keyboard, that it was so small I picked it up and it was heavy! What a surprise. This thing has a heffty base. When I tried the keys I couldn't believe how responsive and solid feeling they were. I put it back down and tried all the other keyboards again to compare. This little HyperX felt the best to me so I bought it, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm happy I actually went to my Best Buy store to compare keyboards before making my purchase. If I had ordered online I would have bought a different band altogether! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great, solid, compact, responsive keyboard. However, those with big hands and fingers should go to their local electronics store to find something that might better fit their fingers. The keys might feel too close together on this wonderful keyboard. But for the small to average-sized among us this keyboard is perfect, in my opinion. I'm average and typing on this keyboard is effortless. A pure joy for me to use.

Super awesome keyboard. Compact, perfect for my type of gaming, RGB is fun to play with, great for travel or a less messy option compared to bigger keyboards on the market. Feels very well built

The keyboard works in perfect condition, was able to get in on sale an a stellar price. Even at full it is very much worth its value, the leyboard is a bit heavy so it stays in place easily. It has a bar in the back that can be pulled up to give you a better angle to type ans the keys sound nice and are durable. 10/10

This is a wonderful, compact mechanical keyboard. I saw it on display at Best Buy, and after trying it, I immediately decided to buy it. The keystrokes are satisfyingly solid and have a pleasant click. I would happily recommend it to my friends.

Great product, keys are easy to remove, love the RGB. Although I will admit it’s going to take a bit of getting used to since i was using a blackwidow elite. Love the extra space though!

Giving it 5 stars if you can grab it on sale. The price is decent compared to other 60-65% keyboards. Decent brand. Keys feel good, it’s a heavier keyboard for its size and I personally preferred that. Came with an extra space bar and esc key with some nice designs compared to the normal keys which I liked. Nice cord type and length. Just plug and play - doesn’t make my poor game skill any better unfortunately .
