Absolutely love this keyboard, you can save 3 rgb settings to the keyboard and overall its been great. The only downside and its not really important is the hyperx rgb software to program your rgb isnt the easiest to understand if your new to pcs.

***Please note that the photos are not indicative of the out-of-box product. I installed new keycaps and am using the Glorious wooden wrist rest, neither of which are included in the box. When this product is at 72% of its MSRP, it is a no-brainer to get for a budget mechanical TKL (tenkeyless) keyboard. The aluminum case is solidly built and has a nice heft. The HyperX red switches feel excellent and is on par with Cherry MX Reds, and can feel even better once lubricated with Superlube or proper switch lubricant like Krytox. Mods I have done and would recommend: 1. Lubricated every switch with superlube. 2. Replaced keycaps with shine-through PBT keycaps. 3. Tape mod (cover the back of the PCB with scotch tape) 4. Foam mod (added a thin layer of foam behind the PCB) For 3 and 4, the case can be removed by removing the screws hidden behind the rubber feet, which can then be re-attached even without glue. Overall, with a little work, this keyboard can look and sound like something much more expensive.

Bought this to replace my old gaming mechanical keyboard. I bought this brand specifically because of both the price and the fact it's a brand that I can trust. HyperX is known for having good value and quality, which this keyboard is a great example of. I picked the aqua switches mainly because it's on sale and readily available, but it's a good switch for both typing and gaming. If you prefer linear switches, go with the red HyperX switches but the aqua switches are still a solid option for those preferring tactile. I used linear switches before and tactile may take some time getting used to yet it in the end, it's a satisfying experience. Sure it comes with ABS keycaps and the stabilizers aren't good, but with a few mods that involve tape, lube, and switching to PBT keycaps. I recommend spending a little on the version with PBT keycaps in stock but if you already got some beforehand, then go with the ABS versions to save a little. Overall, I love this keyboard despite its minor flaws.

Great build quality. I was surprised to see the top and bottom of the case were not plastic. I can imagine people would dislike the weight but I would feel better about having this in my bag than the usual plastic frame boards.

I had this keyboard for over 1 year now. I replaced my old one from Corsair, which lasted only a few months before having issues with some Keys. So far, this keyboard has been excellent. It feels nice and the size is perfect. I would give it 5 stars only if it had a USB port to connect my mouse, but overall, it is great. I also bought the HyperX - Pudding Keycaps PBT Upgrade Kit - White which gave it a perfect contrast with Black and white.

Solid keyboard. Compared to other much more expensive boards this one is now my favorite. I play in a low DPI and need a lot of room for mouse movement and wanted a smaller keyboard as I kept hitting my other keyboard when moving mouse to the left. Heavy keyboard and it stays put. Solid build. I put on the pudding key caps and it look, feels and games amazing.

My very first gaming keyboard and boy did it not disappoint. It’s very satisfying to type with & the RGB lighting is a nice addition. Also, it has a nice weight, so the keyboard is less likely to move while doing activities such as intense gaming.

Already love these keyboard after a few days. The keys have a great tactile feel to them. The case is solid. This a great lower cost alternative to the corsairs and logitechs that are on average $50 more.

Practical and ergonomic. I liked it, it has a medium touch, I like the system of the App for the keyboard but it has a high consumption of resources to operate (CPU more than everything) can be improved with some update. Excellent aluminum brand is heavy and I like that.

A Comfortable and Stylish Mechanical Keyboard I recently bought the HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard apart from my razer keyboard i alredy had, and I must say it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. This keyboard combines comfort, responsiveness, and aesthetic appeal which is unique and different from the one i alredy had i had an exceptional gaming experience with it. the key feature i like about it are the mechanical switches, each key press feels satisfyingly tactile and clicky. Overall Rating: 4.5/5

HyperX makes the best keyboards on the market. This was my 5th or 6th. Removable switches would be nice, but the chassis is made like Russian Tank, and the programmability is excellent! Red, Blue, or Aqua switches, you cannot go wrong!

Excellent keyboard for the price. The build quality is great and I love the TKL layout over my previous full keyboard. The Ngenuity software isn't as bad as what people have made it out to me. I have no bugs or issues whatsoever.

Overall a good keyboard with great feel (aqua switches) that I purchased on sale (70$). Still, I expected more from a Hyper X keyboard. I had lots of issues with keys not working specifically the ‘W’ key in certain games. The only solution was unplugging and plugging it back in until I was able to use the key again. I also had some issues with Hyper X’s RGB app interfering with certain games. I did like all of the features on the RGB app though, and it’s very customizable. I just decided to return the keyboard and buy a bit higher quality product which will hopefully mean a better performance with less errors.

Great keyboard for the price, the rgb on this keyboard is pretty bright. I put some hyperx pudding keycaps and they look soo good with this keyboard. You can also customize the rgb using the hyperx ngenuity software and it saves on the board itself! I highly recommend this keyboard for someone who wants a great mid-range keyboard with really good rgb and build quality.
