This is the second pair of HyperX head phones, the first one was a step down from this one. These were both gifts for my son. They are extremely comfortable, great sound quality!! He actually sent back a pair of really expensive ones, because the comfort and sound qaulity were poor compared to these. He uses them for gaming, and watching videos, or music, so all around great head phones, w/o breaking the bank.

The headset itself is very comfortable and wraps nicely around your ears. It takes about a week to form to your head's shape but you may feel your ears get a little sore until then if you wear them a lot. The mic is barely audible on PC and I haven't found a fix. It works perfect on PS4 and there's no sound issues there. It also comes with a USB adapter for those who want to utilize the extra functions of the headset.

These were a Christmas present for my son who is a gamer. He loves them! They block out outside sounds and in game sound is awesome. They appear to be made very well and are extremely comfortable.

Mic quality is crystal clear when speaking to my friends on discord; gaming with the 7.1 surround sound gets me immersed that much easier. The interchangeable ear pads seem to be really great quality and offer a lot of comfortability. I personally prefer the leather ones as they almost make a nice seal that cancels out a lot of outside noise. Pros: -Detachable mic makes it easy to remove out of the way when I’m not using it or for single player games -Metal frame isn’t too weighty, but is extremely sleek and sturdy -Volume, mic sensitivity, 7.1, and mute buttons all available easily from the attached cord -Excellent sound quality lets me hear exactly where a noise is coming from Cons: -Mic can only be attached to left side of headset so not much room if you have a preference -That’s about it

These are very light and easy fitting headphones with good quality sound and great mic.

This headset comes wonderfully packaged with a choice of memory foam ear pads or the already installed leatherette pads. The headset is comfortable to wear and does a good job of isolating other sounds. The sound and mic quality is very good and the build seems very sturdy. The microphone boom is removable and the cord is wrapped in fabric. I purchased the extended warranty so it's sure to last a few years or be replaced free of charge.

I looked long and hard for a headset that met all of my essentials. I was looking for a headset to partner with my black and red laptop, and was attracted to the red and black style of this headset. The headset itself is built like a tank. It is an all metal build that feels very sturdy without being too heavy. Its leather headrest is very comfortable. The ear cups some in leather or suede, both of which are very comfortable, however I prefer leather. I have worn them for over eight hours at a time, and they have never gotten itchy or uncomfortable at all, as my last headset did. The detachable mic is, as I'm told by my friends, very clear and crisp sounding. I personally find it a very intelligent feature to be able to detach it completely rather than push it away. It is compatible with PC/Console, which is something that not all headsets do, and is a pivotal selling point to some people. The braided cable is very robust and is surprisingly thick. It doesn't tangle often at all, but when you manage to tangle it, the thick cable can be a bit of a pain to work with, especially when it's twisted. The volume/mic volume-mute/surround sound on-off switch attached to the cable is well placed. Something I really appreciate is that when you want, you can detach the headset from the cable. You are left with a cable that is close to 3 feet rather than 6 or 7, however, you are losing surround sound, as the switch double as a sound card. Essentially, you are converting a 6-7 foot surround sound headset into a 3 foot stereo headset. Overall a fantastic product that is very well priced and worth the buy. Would recommend to anyone.

I upgraded from the Razer Kraken X to these and I have to say that these are twice the quality. The sound is fairly rich, though I’ve definitely heard better. The EQ is pretty balanced, though, with no frequency dominating. They are a GREAT For for small heads, BUT they are a little tight. They come with 2nd ear cups that are soft and not noise canceling. I like that for gaming so I can hear myself talk and not feel like I’m screaming. I’m told the mic is crisp and super clear and the surround sound with the usb sound card works perfectly! (Much better than Razer’s 7.1 or THx). I can detect where Even the most subtle sounds are coming from In game. Plugged in as headphones in the 3.5mm jack, they also sound pretty darn good. Good: not bulky, great Fit even for smaller heads, sound and mic clarity, external USB sound card means no software to install, separate controls for mic and audio volume, replaceable mic and ear cups. Bad: a little tight fitting, could have a little more bass (but the bass is definitely sufficient), A little bit heavy, but not too bad. Overall, these smoke a lot of the other products in the class. I will be buying this brand again, if these ever fail on me.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the headset. The surround sound works well and it is very comfortable. I had a little trouble getting the connection through Discord and Skype, but it usually just comes down to unplugging and reattaching the mic. My only complaint is that the USB plug in is very sensitive. If I accidentally brush up against the connection, the sound will often cut out and the application or website I’m using at the time will have to be refreshed. It’s a minor inconvenience, but it’s the only device I have with that issue.

I use this for streaming and gaming. The sound quality is awesome. The mic is good though it does sound a bit nasally. The extras that come with this headset and the quality make this a steal! They are comfortable for hours even for someone that also wears glasses. They fit a small head size and the mic is removable which has its benifits depending on what you are doing. Id 100% reccomend these.

These are a great entry to mid level headset. They are comfortable and work very well. My favorite part is that there is no lame bloatware, they are truly just plug and play with my Win10 pc (mic and headphones). I can play hours with little to no ear uncomfortableness. The mic is detachable which can be convenient but also makes it easy to misplace, but they do have replacement parts on their site.

I thought I had seated mine, as it comes separate from the headset inside the packaging. I was pleased with the overall comfort, quality, and sturdiness of the headset. The sound is good, I did have a problem with the microphone boom as mentioned in the title, spent 15-20 minutes going through the settings and troubleshooters on my pc, only to notice the tiniest of gaps between the earmuff case, and the boom itself. A little extra pressure and it seated.

I just purchased this headset about a week ago. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the sound quality. Highs and lows are clear and crisp. I have yet to actually try the surround sound adapter so I’ve been using them in stereo mode and they still sound great. The padding is also very comfortable and good for long gaming sessions. They are well worth the price. You can’t go wrong with these.

Great headphones, good sound quality, good directional audio for games and good mic. Though not the sturdiest, they are very good for their price.

This is the only headset I will use. It is supremely comfortable, highly durable, and will work on any system with a 3.5mm jack. It's box can be used as a carrying case and it comes with a padded bag for compact carry. With the mic removed it looks like a nice pair of headphones for on the go. Last but definitely not least, the sound quality is superb. You just can't beat a headset this quality for a price this low.

My son was looking for a headset to replace his older Turtle Beach headset and after researching decided on these based on all the positive reviews and Youtube recommendations. He has been very pleased with their sound quality and comfort while gaming. He uses them with the Xbox and had to buy the adapter as well.

Have used heavily for gambing for over a year. I mean, Covid-19 2020 heavily playing MMO's 16hr's per day. These have kept up with this pace and are showing 0 signs of wear on the ear pads. The sound quality and outstanding and the mic seems to work just fine! Press to talk is very easy to set up. Would buy again.
