They feel sturdy, the sound quality right out of the box is great, and the Ngenuity software suite is minimally obtrusive. I was shocked to see they have added an EQ functionality to the Ngenuity software which makes these headphones even better. Just open the software, click enable 7.1 surround sound, choose an EQ setting (or create your own) if that's your preference, and you're ready to go. These blow the Arctis 7+ that I returned out of the water, seriously, there is no comparison. My only complaint is the color scheme, the red is a little loud. Please release this same headset in a grey/black variation and you'll cover all your bases from a user-preference standpoint.

So far so good. I’ve owned and tried a ton of headsets over the last year and they didn’t meet my expectations. This headset specifically has hit all my check boxes. My only con is the factory ear cups were a little to hot for me, so I swapped them for a different set. Other then that perfection.

The listing is for a 7.1 Surround Sound headset but after I took it home and set it up, there was no setting to activate the 7.1. I later realized on the box that it says DTS on the lower left of the box (pictured). I thought maybe they gave me the wrong headset but couldn't find a different listing for a Cloud 2 DTS headset. After a couple hours of troubleshooting and research I found that HyperX changed manufacturers from Kingston to HP which resulted in the 7.1 feature to be replaced with DTS which is not what I want because of it's history with latency issues. While the casual listener may not hear the difference or bother with the setup, it is not what I was shopping for. They share the same model and sku number so I'm hoping to get lucky and find a nearby store that still has one with 7.1 sitting on their shelf so I can exchange it but so far no luck. I will most likely end up returning these and look into another brand.

Worked great til it didn't. Lasted less than a year. I purchased this on December 2022. It's May 2023. Today the buttons just decided to stop working. Not sure if a high prices item should only last 5 months.

Everything is great except for the USB crashing my computer when i unplug it. Could be user error.

Bought this headset as an upgrade for the Hyperx Cloud 1 Wireless. The mic is not picking up sound consistently after 3 weeks of use. Would not recommend product.

i tried giving it power for a day and wouldn't turn on i've kept it for a couple days and still didn't work i looked up why and i didn't get a good answer

Enjoy this lightweight headset and it's comfortability for long hours of game sessions. The mic is also better than the hyper x headset that lasts 300 hours (less muffled and more clearer). The battery doesn't die that fast, however, I do recommend to charge it longer than you expect (2-3 hours) as I sometimes underestimate it's charging time. PRO TIP: On the PS5, you can separate the headset to give you the output audio and you can use a condenser microphone for input AND you can remove the headset's microphone for added convenience (Turn off automatic audio switching before starting)
