Classic product, the Cloud II has a legendary reputation amongst gamers. But you all know that, I'm only leaving this review because Best Buy dangled a possible $400 gift card in front of me to some good feedback from me.

So far so good. I’ve owned and tried a ton of headsets over the last year and they didn’t meet my expectations. This headset specifically has hit all my check boxes. My only con is the factory ear cups were a little to hot for me, so I swapped them for a different set. Other then that perfection.

Got as a gift and they are great quality and my son loves them.

The listing is for a 7.1 Surround Sound headset but after I took it home and set it up, there was no setting to activate the 7.1. I later realized on the box that it says DTS on the lower left of the box (pictured). I thought maybe they gave me the wrong headset but couldn't find a different listing for a Cloud 2 DTS headset. After a couple hours of troubleshooting and research I found that HyperX changed manufacturers from Kingston to HP which resulted in the 7.1 feature to be replaced with DTS which is not what I want because of it's history with latency issues. While the casual listener may not hear the difference or bother with the setup, it is not what I was shopping for. They share the same model and sku number so I'm hoping to get lucky and find a nearby store that still has one with 7.1 sitting on their shelf so I can exchange it but so far no luck. I will most likely end up returning these and look into another brand.

Worked great til it didn't. Lasted less than a year. I purchased this on December 2022. It's May 2023. Today the buttons just decided to stop working. Not sure if a high prices item should only last 5 months.

Everything is great except for the USB crashing my computer when i unplug it. Could be user error.

Bought this headset as an upgrade for the Hyperx Cloud 1 Wireless. The mic is not picking up sound consistently after 3 weeks of use. Would not recommend product.

Hands down one of the best wireless headsets on the market. It's so good my son actually recently stole them from me and I'll be buying another pair soon. They are light weight and have a really comfortable feel with no fatigue feeling after hours of gameplay. The mic quality seems to be as good as it gets for wireless headsets and team mates seem to have no complaints. The bass quality is next level and truly feels immersive in most games especially FPS.

Always had a wired headset until this guy. Best sound, great battery life, high quality mic, comfy fitting, not too heavy. Have bought 5 at this point for friends and family.
