Customer Ratings & Reviews

I have had this product for over 1.5 years now and I have never experienced any problems. The sound quality is crisp with a good range of volume to adjust and hear the smallest sounds in competitive games. It is pretty comfortable to wear as my ears never hurt after wearing for an extended period of time. I have dropped this headset a number of times and it still works perfectly with no issues for the sound, and adjustability of the headset to fit your head. The cord to connect your controller has never ripped or deteriorated over time, it seems as if I took it out the box. Overall, I would buy this product again and I have recommended this to my friends which they have already bought and agree with everything said about this headset.

I hesitated a little when purchasing this headset mostly because by looking at the box, I wasn’t sure if they would be worth the $$. There isn’t any in store for hands on feel,l. Anyway.. I can assure you that as far as build quality. These headsets are worth the asking money. The headband is very strong and sturdy but comfortable. The parts that connect the earcups to the headband are metal. The microphone is pretty large and the braided cable feels premium. I’ve worn the earcups for about 2/3 hours per gaming session and my ears never really fatigued. The volume knob on the right ear up is in a convenient location. I like the microphone mute button, but I wish it was a little larger. It has a nice click when pressed though. The microphone has a small red LED light that will let you know if the microphone is muted. Sound quality is good. Not the greatest, some effects are a little “tiny” and unnatural sounding with these ear cups. Don’t know if it’s the headphones fault or the games I play. Bass could be better but Explosions and gunfire sound loud and full. I haven’t had an issue with the microphone, my friends haven’t complained of me sounding too low. My favorite part about these headphones is that they can be used with every console and device I own. They “pair” with a 3.5mm headphone Jack, so I can use them with my Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo switch and PC. No finicky software to download, just plug the em in and go! All in all, I think these are a solid and very good sounding pair of headphones and I would recommend them over other headsets in this price range. If you’re looking at $60/ $70 headphones, spend a little extra and grab these. They are worth it.

This headset is an amazing product all in one! From the sound quality up to the microphone everything is perfect and smooth, whether you are playing a game on your PC or watching a moving this headset makes you feel like you have your own personal theater! The quality of the microphone is amazing as well, everyone i play with says i sound clear and well whenever i am using this headset! 10/10 recommend this product is definitely worth your money!

I wasn’t expecting much at first, but this headset ended up being way better than I thought. The sound is super clear—footsteps, gunshots, everything comes through sharp, and the bass hits without being muddy. The mic is clean too; my friends said I sound way clearer than with my old headset. It’s comfortable for long sessions, the padding doesn’t get annoying, and it feels lightweight without feeling cheap. Battery life is solid and it connects to the PS5 with zero issues. No random disconnects or crackling. Overall, just a really good headset for the price. Great sound, great mic, and actually comfortable. Easy 5/5.

I've had this headset for roughly a month at the time of this writing, and it's been a fantastic headset so far. I got it when it was on sale and I was in dire need of a new headset, but I'd say it's worth the base price regardless. The quality of the microphone is clear and crisp by default. I had to adjust the volume to be a little higher than the default 100%, as my Discord friends said I was a bit quiet, but it's not an issue. The sound quality of the headset itself is very nice. I didn't have to adjust the tones or anything, but that's my personal preference. There is a volume slider for the headset volume as well as a mute button for the microphone. The only complaint I have is that when I mute in a call, a small crackle can be heard when muting (for other people and myself), but it's not an issue Very comfortable on my head. The length can be adjusted to your liking, which is helpful. It does look a little small compared to other headsets, but again, it is able to extend to whatever you need. The cord is covered by a cloth material, so it's less susceptible to curling itself up like other wires. Overall, I recommend this headset if you're not looking to spend a whole lot of money on a new one. It's worth its base price, but is also a steal when it goes on sale.

I purchased these headphones in order to have a decent mid range headset. Overall good headset. Excellent mic. Sound stage is acceptable for closed back design. Plugging in via AUX cable leaves it a little wanting in volume and detail but still usable. Using the USB DAC and installing HyperX's Ngenuity software made a huge difference in quality and options. I found that in certain songs and games sound would get distorted. (edm genre or games with explosions). Unsure if this is the headset itself or the software or hardware. I ended up buying the Sound Blaster G6 and it can about handle anything that wonderful device can dish out. Fairly comfortable even with glasses but I feel like my ears got warm after an hour or 2. If you're looking for slightly better soundstage and not worried about crystal clear mic quality go for the Hyper X cloud alpha for $10 more.

Don't freak out to see bits of memory foam exposed on the inner edge of the ear cups, it's so the foam can breathe. I contacted the manufacturer to confirm. Sound is good, they're very comfortable too.

Out of all headsets displayed from this price range this one has the best microphone quality!

Always buy this brand. Husband loves these and so does my son. Very comfortable. Blocks outside noise, mic is removable if you don’t want to talk, just hear. Volume control on the ear cuff & mute button on the side of the other cuff by mic.

I purchased these looking for something comfortable and quality sound. These are insanely comfortable and the quality is great. Can't recommend these enough.

The sound come through nice and clear you can sound hoard on video games very well especially on counter strike. It also fits the head very comfortably

The HyperX Cloud III is a great gaming headset, especially for anyone looking for clear sound, comfort, and reliable performance. I use mine for gaming on my PS5 and for recording content, and I appreciate how comfortable the headset feels during longer sessions. The audio quality makes it easier to hear important details in games, and the headset has a solid, well-built feel. I also appreciate the wired connection, which makes it convenient to use with my gaming setup. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience and would recommend the HyperX Cloud III to anyone looking for a comfortable and dependable gaming headset.

I tried a million headsets in this one was the best I ever had of all time the cushions on the ear cuffs are really comfortable These are one of the most comfortable headsets I ever had the sound quality is really good The mic is really good as well honestly, if you’re willing to spend a little extra money, it’s worth it it’s worth every penny

Pro: I've bought many headsets over the years and this has to be the easiest one to get up and going. Plug USB-A and your done. The added benefits are the USB-C adapter, braided cable, strong flexible construction and a small red LED that turns on when you're muted. My favorite part is the mic, which is really well done and picks up everything clearly and is removable if you are that person that prefers an actual separate professional microphone for streaming. Con: Don't get me wrong, the sound is great for gaming, you can clearly hear footsteps all around you and you will probably step up your fps stats BUT, there is little to no bass. Some of these AAA titles have amazing range in music, background noise and even the low deep rumble of an explosion that will vibrate your controller but you wont get the same feedback in your ear because again, no bass. Overall, I do recommend this gaming headset over the previous cloud generations and other sets that HyperX sells mainly because of the upgraded mic, but if you're not using the mic for that particular game, please do yourself the favor and get an actual music only headphone instead.

I mean, of course the quality is better than my rig headset because it cost more but one whenever I touch the mic it makes an ecstatic noise and I don’t like that. It comes with a adapter so you can connect it to your computer three overall it’s worth the price II mean, of course the quality is better than my rig headset because it cost more but one whenever I touch the mic it makes a ecstatic noise and I don’t like that. It comes with an adapter so you can connect it to your computer three overall it’s worth the price. I paid 57 bucks for it cause it was on Labor Day but I recommend it. I wouldn’t recommend it if it was over 80 bucks. It doesn’t seem like it’s worth 80 but yeah.

Product is great! Sound quality is amazing and they are very comfortable on the head. Hyper X does headphones right!

Picked these up on sale because my daughter said it would improve game play (game: Valorant). She was right! These not only make the game more immersive and fun but give great tactical advantage. Because of the 3D way sound comes through in this headset it is very easy to tell when someone is sneaking up on you and from where. I would definitely recommend these for any gamer (would make a great gift!). Plus they are comfortable for hours, even with my glasses on!

I really enjoyed this product because the sound quality is amazing while I am gaming. I not only enjoyed the sound quality of the headset, but I also found the features to be really useful. After all, I can detach the mic and use it as a regular headset to listen to music any time while having the ability to adjust the head strap to fit me. I also enjoyed that the headset comes with an adapter for USB type A and C so that I could connect it to multiple devices. The mic also comes with special features like noise cancellation so that I can block out any noise when I am in noisy environments, which I found useful.

These headphones are great for the price. They both feel comfortable and sound great!

The mic isn’t terrible and works pretty well, I like how it stayed on the ear, it’s so comfortable because of the softness, something that i personally don’t like is that it’s wired and u can’t remove it, but i do like how u can also connect it to your phone and pc, and another thing i slightly dislike about it is how it stays on your neck when ur not using it, but that isn’t a big problem at all, and the sound quality is good, so far I don’t have any major issues with it, for the price it’s amazing.
