Pretty Good for Under $80

HyperX Cloud NOT for PS4 Gamers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned 3 different pairs Of HyperX Cloud's 1 & 2 to know the sound quality of this headset is TRASH on console. The 1st Cloud's I owned sounded very terrible, washed out & low. These are the lowest headsets I've owned since the Sony Gold's... I have had too many headsets in my past to know the sound quality on HyperX can not compete. I even bought the HyperX Cloud 2's hoping the sound card that came with it would at least improve the headset. 1st off... If you don't use the sound card withtin the 1st 5 seconds of turning the system on, IT WILL NOT WORK. Guaranteed fact for everyone who owned these, plus reviews confirm this. By the way, the headset sounds better plugged into the controller than plugged to the sound card they give you... CRAZY HUH. Idk if these headsets would sound any better with Astro Pro Mix Amp Tr, they should, But these are the WORST headset sound quality BY FAR without any sound amplifiers. If you are a skillful gamer looking to hear footsteps, look somewhere else. These are comfortable tho :D
