Pros:
- Simple, yet satisfying, aesthetics
- Rediculously comfy
- Lightweight (As far as I can tell)
- Sturdy build quality
- Solid mic (can keep fan going w/out noise)
Cons:
- In-line audio control can be annoying (Required controller adapter does all that's needed, and I occasionally bump in-line and mess up my audio)
- The bass feels weak, though it isn't entirely absent
A solid purchase all around, and would totally recommend for the price and rediculous comfort and build quality!

The biggest problem I have with headsets is cheap construction. Even high dollar ones crack and split in different spots. This headset sounds great and has a solid aluminum frame. This headset has a detachable mic and can be used with most 35mm devices. They also come with replacement ear pads and a handy case to store them. The only downside is they press on my ears and after a while my ears start to hurt. Maybe I just have big ears...

When I purchased these headphones and tested them out briefly sound was good and comfortable for 2 hour game session. I love that the mic was removable and came with a case which is great. I ended up exchange these headphones though for some with 7.1 capabilities.

After my Turtle Beach earforce x31's kicked the bucket after 9 years, I was forced to buy a new headset. I first picked up Turtle Beach XO Three's which were comfortable, but the sound was lacking compared to the X31's. I figured 9 years later the tech woulda trickled down, and as much as I wanted to like them, I ended up returning them and trying out the Astro A10's. The sound of the Astro A10's was real good compared to the XO Three's, I'd say even better than the X31's, but after about 45 minutes of gaming I found that I had to readjust them on my head until I found just the right spot, which was not ideal because it took a bunch of attempts to find the most comfortable setting which in turn interrupted my gaming session. Returned. Enter these bad boys. After much debate and reading many reviews, I decided to spend a few bucks more and try these out. Sound was on par with the A10's, if not a little richer. The bass was not as deep as the A10's but it's by no means weak. These suckers can boom. As for comfort level, these were comfortable after 3 hour gaming sessions, without having to repeatedly adjust them. Btw I did have the windows sonic 3D setting turned on for all 3 sets. The only negative I'd have to say is that packing these into the included hard case (which in itself is a nice inclusion) is a small hassle because you have to disconnect the mic and make sure the cord is properly tucked in so that you can zip the hard case closed without damaging anything. After a 3 hour gaming session where I can barely keep my eyes open, I just want to chuck these aside and pass out without having to worry about the mic getting damaged, but hey, the mic is warrantied! Bonus!

The HXPERX CLOUDX are very light and comfortable and being able to change the ear pads from a leather to velour like option it very nice. The inline controls make it very easy to mute your chat session and adjust the volume accordingly. The downside is the cable is not removable but you can use it on a cell phone or media device to listen to music and they sounds great. major plus. The downside to these is since they go through the headphone jack on the controller their is no surround sound option. Also in battlefield 4 the war tapes option were not well suited for these cans and most of the other options did have some distortion when there were loud explosions in the vicinity but all other games do sound great. You also get a cable to use these with your computer and they should also work with a PS4 so these can be your all around headphones! If your in the market and don't want to spend above $100.00 on gaming headphones than these are your best option.

This is probably one of the most comfortable headsets I've owned. I've worn them for hours on end, and they've never became uncomfortable. The leather earcups that come on the headset can cause you to sweat though, but they also come with a felt set of replacement ear pads that are just as comfortable but allow a bit more sound to leak.
The sound quality is actually pretty good considering they're just 3.5mm input. Really good mids, the highs can get cracky at times but only when the volume is on the higher side, and the lows are full but aren't really all that bassy.
The mic is actually really good. It surprised me how clear and crisp it was. It's not too loud for others in chat and it's very focused as well. If it's pointed away from your face it won't pick your voice up well. Which can be viewed as good or bad. I like it because it won't pick up anything else going on around me.
I think my only complaint about this headset is the volume rocker. The mute feature works, but adjusting volume with the rocker is just bad. When it's all the way up it sounds fine, but if you even adjust it a little the sounds quality drops through the floor. When you lower the volume on the rocker the sound isn't balanced on each ear, one ear will be playing sound and the other won't, at least not loud enough to hear. But as long as you don't use it and keep it all the way up the headset sounds fine.

Loved the sound but the volume rocker has a tendency to malfunction when lowering the volume. I've had to return it twice just because of the horrible static from the volume rocker but other than that, I love hoe comfortable it is. The removable mic makes it great for casual use as well, just watch out for the volume on the headset.

Great sound without the assistance of an external amp. They're extremely comfortable for long hours of game play. They will work with newer controllers that have 3.5mm headphone jack. The only minor flaw is the volume control switch, they should've made it beefier.

Been using the headset pretty regularly for the last month or so. I've purchased many other headset brands, including Microsoft, Polk, and Turtle Beach, and Afterglow. These are probably the most comfortable for the price point, especially over Microsoft and Turtle Beach. I was surprised by the quality of the headset's materials.
The sound quality is good as well, albeit a bit bright. I tend to like a bassier sound, but I realize this is probably more a preference than anything.
The only problem I've had with them is the connection to the controller seems to spaz out sometimes, making pooping sounds, cutting the audio, or lowering the volume until I mess around with the volume wheel on the headset's cord. I use a Microsoft Elite controller, and I've tried multiple brands of headset adapters I've collected over the years and it doesn't seem to help. The headset doesn't come with a headset adapter, which I was a bit disappointed about. Overall, the connection issues don't bother me too much, but I can see it bothering others.

Bought multiple pairs of Turtle beaches and they were nice. But as my last pair broke again I decided to try something new. These Headphones were same price as the Turtle Beaches. I bought them and was pleasantly surprised when I opened them up. The headphones come in a nice traveling case that makes it easy when I go some where. It also has leather ear pieces which is easier on the ears. The sound quality is amazing and I would definitely recommend them

This headset was a gift for my son. The detachable mic, two sets of ear pads, metal construction and case were important features. He loves the headset. Durable and sound good. Not as good as my Bose, but it's also 1/3 of the price. Also works great with iPad.

So I am a pretty active gamer and my old headset was worn out already so I saw these were on sale so I bought them. It's a pretty decent headset for the price I paid at the time. I needed a replacement quick but didn't want to spend a large amount of money so this headset was decent replacement, it gets the job done!

The first ones I bought were great, they lasted me around 4 months and didn't give me any problems. Until the 5th month, my friends started to complain my mic sounded muffled and I didn't sound good mic wise. I didn't notice any problems myself on the headset but then I sent a message to a friend and the mic did sound muffled. I replaced those ones and used my GSP on them and got the same ones and of course put GSP on it. Well I used them and everything seemed fine and I was set. Well I found out that when my mic was muted it really wasn't muted. People could hear me when I had my mic muted. I sounded muffled of course and obviously when you mute your mic you don't want people hearing you. But all things said, it was a good headset, was very comfortable and sounded nice. I just replaced the ones I had for the new Hyper X Alpha.

I was using cheap earbuds to play and communicate on xbox one and while they did the job...they were really uncomfortable during long playing sessions. I decided to upgrade and did some research. I bought the Astro A50s but returned them because 1. They are not true wireless on Xbox One and 2. The mic didn't work properly despite updating the drivers multiple times.
So I bought these instead and so far, so good. They are comfortable and I've gotten in 3-4 hours sessions without taking them off! The Mic works perfectly! People have told me how much more clearly they can hear me vs. when using the Astros. Is the sound better than the Astros? No, not even close. The Astros are probably the best sounding headset that I have tried. I could hear exactly where the footsteps were coming from but what good is that when you can't communicate that to your teammates? I believe that the stereo sounds on these HyperXs is more than adequate. I also like the fact that I can use these headset with my PC to communicate via Skype. Overall, a nice buy for the price.

These headphones are very comfortable as they come with memory foam ear cups and headband, they sound good and the microphone is not bad at all. Also the carrying case these come with is very handy.
