I bought this to replace my old blue yeti nano that had broken a while ago, so this microphone had some pretty decent competition to beat. And while not having the great software that the yeti nano comes with for free was a bit to get used to, I quickly found myself not even needing it, because this mic sounds great out of the box. The stand it comes with is pretty good, but on a boom arm this thing is beautiful. The rgb also works and looks great, which really compliments whatever your set up you have. Overall, this is a must-have for anyone looking for a decently affordable microphone. Its is well worth 100 bucks, let alone the 50 I got it for on discount. I seriously cannot believe just how much of a step up this is fron the yeti nano, especially considering they’re the same price.

I personally don’t have a lot of space on my desk so I need a smaller microphone that still had great sound and this microphone turned out to be better than I expected nice compact size and only a bit of LED lights

I am a gamer who loves to play with my friends. When I used this mic for the first time, my friends were shocked at how clear my voice sounded. They could barely hear my background noise either, which is a plus since I play with the AC on.

I bought this on sale as a Christmas gift for someone else, but already pulled it out of the box and tested it lol. Keep in mind, I’m not picky so I won’t get too technical and my standards may be lower than someone who, for example, uses professional audio equipment. I also didn’t install any drivers or software, I just used it out of the box and it worked fine. The audio is clear and accurate, obviously not gonna professional quality but soooo much better than a headset mic. I’d say the audio is pretty comparable to my Razer Seiren v2 BUT the HyperX DuoCast stands out from other gaming mics I’ve used in the past for a couple of reasons: 1) rather than having to mute with a tiny mechanical button, the entire top of the mic senses touch and mutes. Furthermore, the RGB lights turn off when it’s muted, so its extremely difficult to accidentally mute yourself without noticing. 2) the mic rests on a bungee cord, which rests on the stand. Really helps to cut background noise if you’re someone who bangs on your desk when you get mad at the game, but either way, this mic has no issues with oversensitivity as far as I can tell. 3) it looks nice. Not sure if you’ve seen the monstrosities other peripheral manufacturers have been making lately, but HyperX is towards the top of my list in terms of aesthetics. The RGB lighting is diffused really nicely. Overally, I highly recommend this mic above its brand-competitors’ similar products, especially if you can catch a nice sale on it.

I was looking for cheap microphones recently since I just bought a pair of headphones that didn't come with a mic and I happened to stumble upon this Mic. I quickly purchased it and honestly I wasn't blown away but when you look at the sale price of 39 dollars I would say its a good deal. It does what it needs to do for a reasonable price. Also it was definitely a step up from my microphone attached to my headset. (Also love the tap to mute button on the top with the rgb lights turning off when muted). If youre looking for a decent cheap mic I would definitely recommend this

The HyperX Duocast is a great microphone for voice chat on discord (which is what I use it for exclusively). For some reason, it is not "Discord Certified" but it is definately better than the blu mics that are more expensive and hyped up. Unlike the others, this has USB-C, 96KHz Studio Grade Mic Qualtiy and great software to configure the mic. I use cardioid for voice chat as it capture voice infront of the mic and not behind, reducing audio noise and increasing voice quality. It even has the AI Noise Reduction which works very well (don't have to Krisp AI or Nvidia RTX Noise Cancellation). I would say, the only thing is that the RGB is a bit glitchy with the software, but I don't care enough about it to take off a star, it still lights up and thats good enough for me. One feature I didn't know it had is the tap to mute as well. You tap on top of the mic and it turns it off. That was a huge feature I didn't even know I needed.

The perfect mic I finally decided to go with a usb mic instead of using headphone mic and I do not regret my choice of change I get complemented on how good it sounds the rgb is also a sick feature I love this product !

The microphone is good quality, for a great price. Simple set up and sound management. I ordered it for delivery. The only issue was mine arrived broken. The package was in new good condition and sealed. When I opened it, the microphone stabilizer was fully cracked, causing an unbalanced microphone. I understand things happen, I returned it. I got the Quadcast S in exchange, I feel like the Duocast is just as good. The Duocast S has better feel quality and more crisp sound.
