The Fury SSD 240GB drive is rated at 500MB/s read and write. Since approximately 550 MB/s is the fastest, this to me rates this drive as fast. I know the same drive with LED lights fails a lot because of heat from the lights. It should be noted that this drive does not have any lights on it. It is a really good price, and I do recommend it.
