    Originally aired on HBO and co-produced by his good friend Al Pacino, this documentary is amazing. Known to most as a supporting character actor, Cazales left us way to soon, but also left a impeccable resume in that short time..Just about everyone of his movies were Oscar winners , classics or both. In each of them, he left an indelible mark with memorable character portrayals..This version clocks in at 40 minutes with some nice extras, though I believe the original on HBO was longer. Any legitimate movie needs to check it out and appreciate his place in history.

    For his short film career he was a remarkable actor and starred in some timeless classics. This is an excellent documentary of his short but powerful impact in the film industry.

    I Knew It Was You is a superb video. I really liked it and strongly recommend it to anyone. John Cazale was a brilliant actor who died way too soon.

    I'm glad someone thought of John Cazale for a documentary subject. as with a lot of talented people taken away from us much too early, it makes one wonder what would've been.
