"I Love You, Beth Cooper" opens at High School Graduation with the geeky valedictorian, Denis (Paul Rust), angering many in his graduating class and professing his love for a girl he sat behind but never talked to. This sets up a unpredictable set of events in which Denis and his friend try to stay alive as they encounter each of the alienated groups. But the film takes a twist with Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere) starting to go sweet on the geek. Beth and her friends decide to help Denis and his friend through the gauntlet of upset people. The combination makes for many fun scenes. Set in Wisconsin, this film includes the obligatory beer run as well as a cabin in the woods. Watch for them!

    Below Average Rom-Com

The best thing I can say is it's a lot better than All About Steve (for those that want the double feature). It has enough energy particularly from the 2 leads to make it watchable, but it's not in the league with the better Rom-coms. It seems they want to make Hayden Panettiere a younger version of Sandra Bullock, but she is going to need a lot more of a script than this. Overall average Bluray for the $5 bin.

Great teen romantic comedy. The plot is predictable but the funny, especially if you like Hayden Panettiere.

Typical rom-com and not even a good one

If you're looking for a good rom-com, or a high school romance film, look somewhere else. I Love You Beth Cooper has horrible cringe worthy humor, the main character looks like he's 35, the plot is ridiculous and cliche. Just avoid this movie please.

I didn't find the movie very funny, and there was no plot whatsoever, I am not a fan and I wish I had not bought it.
