This pc is awesome and can run every game i have on max settings. It looks really good and is fast. I did have a problem with the light bar coming lose but it was an easy fix. Mine didnt come with a remote for the lights, I guess they stopped including one as it wasn't advertised on the box either. I would recommend this pc to anyone.

After perusing the offerings on Best Buy's website and narrowing down the systems I was interested in to the offerings from iBuyPower and HP, I went to my local Best Buy because the website indicated that they had the models I was interested in from both manufacturers in stock. I briefly contemplated the higher priced iBuyPower simply because it had the i7-7700k CPU and GTX 1080, but the price was a bit steep and I am not planning to do VR or game at 4K anytime soon, so I opted to look at this model and the HP Omen which had a GTX 1070 for about $100 more. As it turned out, the Omen, which I was leaning towards, was not in stock, so I chose the iBuyPower with the GTX 1060. I have had this for a couple of weeks now and have thrown my favorite games at this computer, Flight Sim World, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Civ 5 and every one of these games runs in Ultra High quality at smooth framerates. This system is a far cry from the gaming rig I had been using which was a Core 2 Quad 2.8Ghz with a GeForce 550Ti, which struggled to give me smooth framerates at medium or medium-high quality. Looking forward to many years of gaming enjoyment from this new system. Definitely recommend.

This computer is great. My old machine couldn’t handle the new GTX 6GB 1060 video card I bought to replace my old GTX 960, hence time for an upgrade. To note while reading this, I am an extreme power user and I don’t fit into any normal model for a typical or power user. This PC has: -ASUS Prime H270-Plus Motherboard -Standard OEM Intel CPU cooler -Adata 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Memory sticks -Adata 2.5” 120GB SSD -1TB WD Blue 3.5” Drive -Internal corded USB wireless dongle -600 Watt power supply (I don’t recall the brand, given away already) -Corded gaming keyboard and simple corded 4 button gaming mouse -Case with remote LED lights and thick tinted glass sides -1 red LED case fan (located in the rear of the case) -Windows 10 CD, Motherboard CD (drivers, Daemon Tools Pro, and some other utilities) & printed motherboard manual IMPORTANT -- After you take this out of the box and before you put this computer where you want it to be scratch off the covered part of the Windows 10 Key located on the sticker located on the back of the case and take a picture of it so that you can register Windows 10 without bending over backwards to get to it later. Also take a picture of the iBUYPOWER serial number to register the computer itself. There is a warning sticker on both of the glass sides that are a pain to remove but easy to clean up. You will want some alcohol pads or alcohol and rags to clean the residue once you get them off. It was a simple bootup. I registered Windows 10 and did windows updates to make sure everything was working. The wireless dongle detected my connections, and the wired connection performed well. My router is an ASUS AC3100. So, your mileage will vary according to what hardware you have for your network. Standard 2 piece speakers will work without problems but if you have 5/7.1 speakers, you will want to upgrade the sound card drivers. I had an external USB DVD drive and installed the ones from the motherboard driver disk, or you can get them from the ASUS website if you want to download and install that way. That was all I had to do to get up and running and hopefully that’s all you need or want to do. I did not use the keyboard, mouse, internal wireless dongle, or graphics card to any extent at all. I booted it up to ensure all was working as it was supposed to as I immediately changed parts out after the initial setup. If you do not plan on adding or upgrading this machine after you get this machine home, scroll down for the quick pros and cons. If you do plan on adding more internal HDD’s/SSD’s/M.2’s case fans etc..., read on. I replaced the stock SSD, HDD, Graphics Card, power supply, and LED fan. The motherboard only supports 3 case fans, so if you want to add more you will need to add a fan controller with added case fan connections. The case has places for 3 front, 1 bottom front. 1 top back and 2 (if I recall) top fans. Behind the front of the case has a magnetic screen mesh filter to use with the fans. The bottom fan has a wire mesh held in with metal tabs as well. Removing the front of the case is a little bit of a pain at first, but easy enough once you figure it out. The front is mounted with the round type of tabs and not the simple push in with finger type tabs. The LED’s on the front of the case can be easily disabled by simply unplugging them and is not controlled with the LED remote. The internal LEDs are controlled with an internal wireless receiver connected to the power supply and LED strip. The LED strip is thin and small LED’s. Better than some others I have seen in other brands cases at best buy. The receiver in mine was mounted near the top front, hard to get to work with the remote. I moved mine to the right side of the case near the mid so that it could be more easily seen by the remote. The remotes distance is short though. I don’t know if this is because of the remote, the receiver, or the tinted glass on the case. I removed the wireless internet USB receiver simply because I don’t use wireless for this machine. Just removed the tie down and pulled it out of the internal USB port. Mounting HDD’s/SSD’s/M.2’s is easy. They are mounted on metal plates and then slid into tabs and held in with the thumb screws, while the M.2’s is mounted on the motherboard. M.2_1 is between the graphics card and CPU next to the memory slots, M.2_2 is below the second PCIe X16 slot. Make sure you have mounting screws, otherwise they will be flapping around in there. IMPORTANT -- when using M.2’s. if M.2_1 is used SATA_1 is disabled. If M.2_2 is used SATA_6 is disabled. Also, M.2_1 is 32Gbs and M.2_2 is 16Gbs. This is standard configuration right now for most motherboards but should be noted as you don’t want to put a Samsung 960 pro M.2 into slot 2. The only reason I replaced the power supply is because the stock power supply power connectors would not reach both 3.5” HDD’s mounted in the case. The case mounts the HDD’s vertical, one above the other and the power connectors would not reach. It is mainly an issue with the case and not the power supply because if the HDD's were mounted like a typical case does, it would not be an issue, but to fix the issue I had to replace the power supply. The power supply is removed from the back of the case as the case keeps the extra cables and power supply hidden well. There is plenty of room on the right side/behind the mother board, to route and strap cables to and from components. It is a nice case, easy to work with and a descent motherboard. For someone like me, I should have custom built instead of pre-built like I usually do. This is only my second pre-built PC out of at least 10 I have had personally over the last 25 years. For the everyday person or standard power user, this will work great and are getting what you pay for. This should cover 99% of every person that will buy a computer from Best Buy and allow them to do what they want. If you are an extreme power user like myself, I would recommend building instead because the price will skyrocket quickly replacing and adding the pieces and parts you would personally prefer. If I were a standard or power user, I would add a larger SSD (at least 500GB) and an external drive for backups/rarely used data and I would be done with having to worry about anything with this PC. My final changes and setup is: Liteon 128GB M.2 SSD (For Operating System) Samsung EVO 500 GB SSD (For Programs & Games) Sandisk 240GB SSD (Extra drive from my old PC) 2-WD Blue 2TB 3.5" HDD in Raid 0 (For Data) 2-4TB External USB 3.0 WD HDD's (Backup and Backup's Backup) 3-Cougar variable 120mm case fans EVGA 6GB GTX 1060 Corsair 850 Watt Power Supply Black Widow V2 Chroma keyboard Logitech G900 Wireless Mouse Logitech G533 Wireless Headset 2-27" Samsung Curved Monitors 1-27" Samsung Flat Monitor Pro’s -No real bloatware except for Microsoft’s standard trying to take over the world software -Easy to setup -Simple, Elegant, Aesthetic case. Inside and outside -Easy to upgrade/add components (see below) Con’s -Sound card drivers must be updated if you want/need 5/7.1 sound -Can’t add a second mechanical 3.5” HDD without replacing the power supply (knocked a star for this one) -LED remote has a very short distance and the LED receiver is in a bad position. The remote must be pointed directly at it to work -Won’t cook me breakfast, make me lunch, dinner or even a snack, biggest let down!

I got this PC hoping that it would run games well and I was not disappointed. Plays all the games I have such as Fallout 3 and Battlefield 4 on high/ultra settings easily with good framerate. The LED lights gives it more life too. Anyone who gets this PC will NOT be disappointed I convinced one of my friends to buy one too and he shares the same opinion as I do so that says something about it. The keyboard and mouse that come with it is good too. You really get what you pay for.

The iBUYPOWER desktop is one of best gaming computers I've ever had. It runs all games flawlessly and the graphics are amazing. With the SSD drive everything runs fast without lag. I would buy the same if I was purchasing today. Between the excellent equipment and Best Buy great service I cant be more pleased.

This computer for the price is amazing with the specs it comes with. I was looking for the average graphics card, memory, cpu you and all that for under 1,000 or right near it and this hits it right on the spot. My friend built a computer for about the same price and this computer is still better. So with it already being pre built and has to room to do upgrades you can not really beat it in my opinion. Now I am not a high tech all out graphics design and stuff, but for gaming and other etc. it gets the job done.

I have been gaming on a mac for years and was tired of being limited to games and also it not being able to run high fps on most games. I finally made the commitment to buying this thing, and i was not disappointed at all so far. Every game i threw at it could run max settings at the max fps for the game. Also i need to mention this comes with a great keyboard and mouse, which is a plus. Looks and works awesome, you cant go wrong with this computer.

I wasn’t sure about the brand, I tend to stick to ASUS and Lenovo for my computer needs but this computer does a great job. Photo and video editing is very smooth and the integrated graphics card does a great job. Only annoying thing is the WiFi range is kind of annoying, can’t be more than a couple rooms away like you can with a laptop.

I initially purchased a cheaper computer with the notion that I would upgrade components as I had a need. Thankfully, before unboxing the other PC I read some reviews. The other computer only had a single SATA connector, so I couldn't even add additional hard drives as needed. I returned that tower and settled on this computer as the best "longterm" purchase with options for adding components later on. Turns out this was a great choice. The tower comes with an Asus motherboard and MSI graphics card, and the starting packet includes the user manuals for both parts. I've run the computer through its paces with the SteamVR Performance Test and real time rendering in Blender. Both performed spectacularly... very happy :-p The computer also came without *any* crapware that I can find... This is amazing considering how bogged down most other major brands are out of the box. Very happy, would highly recommend.

This computer met and exceeded all of my expectations. It has handled everything I have thrown at it so far. Gaming on high to ultra settings and video editing have all done well. Over all it is a great system. I was surprised to find it had a wireless Ethernet adapter inside the case. Even though I didn't use wireless, its a nice little addition not mentioned in the description. Overall a great PC.
